She claims she got a visit from the ghost of Joe Stalin?
John 3:16, Acts 1:9, etc.
So does the devil.
Know a tree by its fruit. I can’t judge the state of her soul, but do you think a practicing Christian would let her husband get off scott free for rape, repeatedly, just to cling to his coatails for a shot at the Presidency?
That woman would do and say ANYTHING, and I mean ANYTHING, to get the democrat nomination.’
Based on this post, you can drop the “evangelical” part from your bio.”

Hillary is the biggest bullshitter on Planet Earth, and this proves it.
You're claim that there are "different methods".
Sorry I should have posted the vs before.
"And if anyone hears My words and does not believe, I do not judge him; for I did not come to judge the world but to save the world. He who rejects Me, and does not receive My words, has that which judges him the word that I have spoken will judge him in the last day.
How can there be different methods apart from what He said? It does follow! "You can not come to that conclusion with the Bible." Or, you can point me to the "different methods" Jesus talked about in the Bible.
Perhaps I have not made myself clear. I am not disputing that there is an ascension story in scripture, and that eternal life is obtained through the son alone. My point is that there is nothing in scripture that says that the accounts of Jesus must be interpreted in the strictly literal, strictly exoteric sense in order for one to be saved through the son. In fact, there is enough ambiguity to raise big questions about this proposition.
I am happy with being dogmatic about it. It’s in the Bible and proven over and over. It isn’t unjustified. Either what the Bible says is true in whatever version throughout the years, or it isn’t. Stand up for Jesus!
The possible “different methods” to which I referred, are different interpretations of the same words. The words are to be believed, to be sure, but what what meaning is to be attached to them ... that is the question.
Remember that scriptures were not written in a time like ours, i.e. a time when writing is intended to be as utterly clear, efficient and unambiguous as possible. Rather, it was a time when words were just as often intended to convey mystery as clarity.
You can’t stand up for Jesus if you have a misguided (because overly dogmatic) understanding of him. You are only standing up for your incomplete version of Jesus, not the real thing.
St. Paul warns us against this type of teaching in 1 Corinthians 15.
Indeed, 1 Corinthians 15:3-4 is simple and clear. No ambiguity whatsoever.
Fill me in to the complete real version then please.
Egads! You're not Mormon, are you?
Seems like ole Jane Fonda found God awhile back too...that’s kinda melted away as well.
Agreed. Hillary's problem with this seems to be how could God give people who don't hear the Gospel no chance. But this conclusion that bothers her does not necessarily follow.
The Bible has pointed out in several places that God honors the righteous gentile. But how could a gentile be righteous without Christ when all have fallen short of God's standards? Indeed Paul establishes in Romans 3 that Abraham was saved by faith in Jesus. How then? Was he a Jew when he was saved? No, he became the first Jew as a result. Does it make any difference if he was a Jew for this salvation? Paul points out earlier in Romans that it did not. Had Abraham heard of Jesus? No. Did Jesus die for Abraham? Yes, and that is what saved him.
Thus there are people who, like Abraham (and others), have found salvation in the gospel of Jesus, but who have never heard it. Just as there are people who have heard it over and over again, and yet never found it.
Theology does not save. Jesus saves. The gospel is a map to Jesus. Having the map is better then naught, but the crucial thing is to make the journey to Christ. Neither the map, nor an intellectual understanding of theology count a wit except that they help reach Him.
lol, that Scripture immediately came to mind!
