What is an auditorium half-full of moonbats like? Well first of all it doesn't smell very good, second, it's very loud, third, it has a back-up supply of policemen at the ready for the inevitable task of evicting the hecklers, and fourth, it really makes you wish you had a taser with you.
Alberto Gonzales spoke at Ohio State this evening. I went to his lecture, forgetting that this is not a normal environmnt, it's a college campus, and was reminded of that fact by the shouting loons as Gonzales walked on stage. Most people clapped, but there was a group of boys in the middle of the seats who booed loudly. When he first mentioned 9/11, a crowd on the left-hand (appropriate, eh?) side immediately went off with the usual "You're a fascist," "War is terrorism" mantra. A policeman told them to quiet down.
Throughout the lecture you'd hear yells about torture and waterboards. As soon as he said "al-Qaida" we got the "al-Qaida doesn't exist" shout. I swear, you could give these people an OBL tape to watch and they'd still tell you al-Qaida doesn't exist. Anyway, then he gave his opinion on Iraq, which illicited a loon fest of Rage Boy proportions. Two guys in the middle got up and yelled "Shame on you" extremely loudly, and then dozens of people on both sides of the room get up to join in their shouts. The police dragged all of them out of the room.
Gonzales said he believes we are safer now than we were before 9/11. One gem sitting up front blurts out "Torturing people doesn't make America more free." OK dude, first of all man, you like got your grammar wrong. It's freER, not "more free." And second, if pouring water up a terrorist's nose for thirty seconds can get us information that can save American lives--maybe even YOURS--then we will damn well pour water up a terrorist's nose.
Later on Gonzales said something about not withdrawing from Iraq immediately, which set off a heckler again on the left side of the room, whom the police had to carry out of the building. A second guy of questionable hygeine also required to be dragged (literally) out of his seat and out the door after interrupting Mr. Gonzales shortly after that. A girl in the back row came out with "You realize we are paying to hear lies?" OK princess. If you looked at your ticket you'll see the price was 0.00. That means it's free in case you didn't know. And if you don't want to hear it, why the f*** did you come? A girl in the front row pointed this out to the morons behind her by turning around after one of their massive carbon-emitting shouting phases and snapped "If you don't want to be here then leave. Stop being disrespectful."
Gonzales read a transcript of a 9/11 call made by someone on the 92nd floor to his wife. A girl in the back had only this crass comment to offer: "Why do you tell us sob stories when you torture people?" So the welfare of terrorists has you more concerned than innocent Americans losing their lives?? Fine, go move to Saudi Arabia, where they'll get you fixed up in a burka, give your husband (if anyone is actually attracted to you) permission to beat you, and forbid you to drive, vote and walk in public without male relative.
I would love for these people to live under Shariah law and see what it's like. Go move to Iran with your terrorist buddies who you're so concerned about. Go move to your Bush-free communist utopia in China where they WILL torture you if you protest against them. Then come back and tell us how much America sucks. In this country you have the freedom to protest and be an expletive about it. Elsewhere you do not. If you dare criticize the Iranian regime, the police will beat you instead of remove you from the building.
At the end of the lecture most clapped, but of course there were boos, and a few people, including me, even stood up and clapped for the poor guy for putting up with these assholes.
These nuts are incredibly ignorant and annoy me to no end.

It’s a shame the statement was dragged out. It should have been dragged out,down the hall out the back door across the parking lot stood up against a wall and shot.
All this chaos was just over Gonzales...imagine if Bush came to speak!
What would be really telling though, is how these people would’ve reacted had they been at Columbia on September 24 when Ahamdinejad was speaking. They wouldn’t have been this angry and obnoxious, that’s for sure. They’d be cheering him on.
The only good thing about Columbus is the Blue Jackets. I’ve about had it with the POS losers in Franklin County.

And I give up on them.
The only thing we have on them, besides maturity and manners, is that we own guns.
All it takes is for good people to do nothing for evil to prevail. Nuts like this are NOT the majority, but we tolerate them, instead of confronting them at every turn.

When have you ever seen a public forum where an American wasn’t verbally crucified by a Leftist mob? Name me two.
They reached critical mass and they know it. They can set off pipe bombs in the public square and they will not be pursued, let alone punished.
They can storm places of Federal business and have the full suport of local law enforcement.
They can howl down speakersand silence dissent with willing rent-a-mobs.
And after January, they can and will use voter registration rolls as an enemies list.

By their nature it’s impossible to reason with leftists. Because leftism is the definition of irrationality. Therefore since leftists can’t argue their ideas logically, they must prevent other different viewpoints from being argued. You never hear of conservative students shouting down lib speakers. Only leftists disrupt speeches by people with dissenting views. Deep inside the soul of every committed leftist is a Joseph Stalin waiting to get out.

For the past 3-5 years, I have regularly been hearing rumors from various credible sources of the uber Greenies/Leftists in my county arranging straw buyer gun sales for leftwing felons. This actually began back in the 1990s when we had a leftwing DA elected as a Republican who routinely got plea deals for his buddies so they could keep their guns.
A week or so ago, I was told of a group of hippies who have been training as a militia. They evidently believe CWII is around the corner, have pulled their kids out of public school, been stockpiling food/ammo/trade goods, gone off-grid and are making sure they, their women and children are proficient in firearms, survival skills and field medicine. These folks are aged 18-45, they have land, funds, and 3+ children per family.
Both sides will be armed whenever the next civil war occurs.
