“The only acceptable approach is to stop testing (decriminalize) players for foreign substances. If the player is wiling to risk his long-term health for the sake of possibly playing professional baseball, we, as a society, should let them. I take the clause “pursuit of happiness” quite seriously. Even though that’s not my own personal happiness, I have no right to inflict my morality on him.”

If some hippy wants to shoot himself up with paint then let him . that’s one less on the welfare rolls or prison roles.

Socialists/liberals want the government to save us from ourselves. that’s not the function of government . it could never do that anyway .

Government should be stopping murderers , child molesters, rapists, and illegal aliens from crossing the border instead the idiots are going after baseball players who take steroids and others who take steroids.

why is it your or the government’s business what another adult does?

Every law the government writes just takes more of our freedom , increases the government’s power, allows government to crack down on previously innocent citizens and raises taxes and government size and spending.
That’s liberalism , that’s socialism. That’s not freedom .

America= freedom= capitalism .

No group should impose their morality on the rest of us.
