McCain will be on Sean Hannity radio show for an hour on Monday, March 10, 2008.

I listen to Hannity regularly although not the entire three hours. From what I have heard him say, he doesn’t know that Amnesty is a primary concern.

McCain is our nominee,is he not?

No. McCain is a Republican (partisan) nominee, not a conservative (ideologue) nominee.

Wrong forum and wrong implication. Maybe FreeRepublican.com?

We've got to get our base moving again," McCain told the invitation-only audience of more than 400 social conservatives, the newspaper reported.

McCain touted himself as anti-abortion candidate who would fight gay marriage and cut federal spending.

All of which are anathema to McCain. When he talks about getting "our base moving again," he's not talking to or about conservatives. They're NOT part of his base!!

How are we “greener” with $300 billion+ stripped out of the economy? Oh, I see, we’ll have more trees. A lot less money and a few more trees. Sure, that’s a “conservative” solution.

Geesh.

My doubts about Mr. McCain are as wide and deep as the Grand Canyon.

I doubt if he has enough reassuring words to fill that chasm. Even filling it by 60-70% would be enough. I honestly don’t think he can do it.

We’re in a pickle and we’re about to be jarred, boiled and set on a shelf in the cellar.

McQueeg should “give it up” as far as trying to “woo” conservatives. This is getting old and bo-ring!

Well said...

I talk to people and they don’t even KNOW they need mental help. Red is green and the Sky is black they tell you but if you argue with them “YOU’RE CRAZY” - go figure ... many republicans have jumped on that crazy train along with the GOP - either way - I’m not joining the asylum I’ll just skip the “vote for president” box when I go in November... McCain will never get my vote (well unless “the Day after Tomorrow” happens LOL yeah so I guess I’m not voting for him! LOL

If McManiac is for amnesty, which he is, ( can’t woggle out of it) can he legally take the oath as Prez. Can anyone legally administer the oath? Be a hoot if the Chief Justice refused to administer the oath and they could’t get anyone else too.

What you mean “we”, Kimosabe?

Come, now, it can't help being greener with all the manure being spread by the "frontrunners" of any ilk.

As Erma Bombeck used to say, "The grass is always greener over the spetic tank..."

I’m not so sure it’d be wise to say there’s a “silver lining” to having three Democrats in the race, one with an (R) stamped on it, akin to an old tattoo of a former girlfriend you can’t get rid of. But this experience certainly is revealing those who apparently made a wrong turn on the way to the DU.

McCain was nominated by the media.

Most conservatives and constitutionalists voted for other candidates, stayed home, or grudgingly voted for him after they were told that his nomination was inevitable.

Good point, but the oath of office (and the party platform) are no longer relevant in our “democracy”...

McCain touted himself as anti-abortion candidate who would fight gay marriage and cut federal spending. "We have to work to change the culture of America to protect the rights of the unborn. That's how we will ultimately succeed," he was quoted as saying.

And yet he told the San Francisco Chronicle that he does not think Roe v. Wade should be overturned. He said he would not appoint justices like Alito because "that guy wears his conservatism on his sleeve." His record isn't in line with his rhetoric, which is all too common for McVain.

On the subject of global climate change, McCain acknowledged his position on the subject might be at odds with some in the audience. "Suppose I'm wrong and climate change (is) not taking place," McCain said. "All we've done and given our kids is a greener world."

Just another socialist scheme to control our lifestyles and take more of our money that John Sidney McCain has bought into. One more on a mounting list of problems with the guy.

But he’s actually pandering to the people who did not want McCain to be president, whose agenda is McCain advocating? It surely aint Hillary or Obama’s agenda.
