"The first thing I would do," the candidate answered, "is call in John Kerry, Bob Kerrey, Joe Biden, Zbigniew Brzezinski, Henry Kissinger, Dick Lugar, Chuck Hagel and several others and say we've got to get foreign-policy, national-security issues back on track."
no I was being serious I usually don’t make comments and read things that I have no faith in...my take on Rasmussen is that its a good running yardstick...his Presidentials in 2004 were right on the money... he had to adjust at the beginning because of the influx of new voters and other issues. I think he has a good running record but its really your call whether you use it as a pulse or not. I hear Rasmussen on Hannity and he sounds very reasonable in his approach.

LOL. I had pretty much given up on FoxNews after their Rudy-arse-kissing routine. When they announced Rove would be a regular on the show, I tuned out permanently. One viewing of Rove with his little white-board routine was enough for me.

I am beginning to like John McCain. Rove’s idea of getting Mcain’s story out to the public is a good one. I can find alot of things to disagree with him, but I can find just as many reasons to like him.
Today, I officially left the Republican Party and became a registered Independent. In North Carolina, I can now vote on either the Republican, Democrat or Libertarian primary ballot.
I have no intentions of returning to the GOP until they return to the conservative principles that once ruled the party.
That really is the problem with the current GOP. They just don't get it. Instead, they send out their thugs (the GOP Charm Police) to demand that you comply. It's gonna be a long 9 months!

The GOP doesn’t need my money or my time either. That is why I no longer want to be part of the new liberal RINO GOP.
