Barack Obama won the Wyoming caucuses Saturday, beating Hillary Clinton by double digits after a day of historic turnout in the state.

With 96 percent of precincts reporting, Obama had 59 percent to Clinton’s 40 percent. Both candidates campaigned in the state ahead of the caucuses, but the onus was on Obama to regain his momentum after Clinton disrupted his winning streak Tuesday, scoring wins in Texas, Ohio and Rhode Island.

Her victories kept her campaign alive, pushing the race forward to Wyoming, where just 12 convention delegates in 23 county caucuses were at stake. Next up is Mississippi, which holds its primary Tuesday, and then Pennsylvania, which votes April 22.

With the almost unprecedented political attention, turnout was high as thousands of Wyoming voters deluged caucus sites.

Obama got a big bump from Albany County, which contains the University Wyoming. The state Democratic Party reported 75 percent of caucus-goers there went for Obama.

At best Obama only picks up 2 delegates in a caucus state. But, if he can follow through with a 60% - 40% win in the primary in Missisippi it will help him to pull away from her in delegates and it will add to his popular vote advantage.

I’m still not convinced that Hillary’s momentum is broken. She’s got 5 weeks to tear down his image of invincibility before the Pennsylvania primary. Unless she can win by 30% there, then its all over and there will be no civil war at the convention. If however, she can get that big win in PA then there will be do-overs in MI and FL.

The big news is that the super delegates are inching their way up for Obama every day. I think he picked up close to 50 in the past week or so.

WY is moving to the left like its northern neighbor, where Ted Turner has bought up so much property. Maybe Obamamania has now come to WY too. Probably up in Jackson County in particular

I heard that most of the differential in the causus came form the Laramie area where the Universities are. You've got to be careful when drawing a conclusion about a caucus...less than 10,000 people voted in Wyoming.

That’s about all we’re going to hear from him, interviews. He can’t do a lot of advertising now.

Obama had 59 percent, or 4,459 votes, to Clinton's 40 percent, or 3,081 votes, with 22 of 23 Wyoming counties reporting.

I live in a city whose population is more than 10X this....in one county..... tell me again why ANY of this matters? Based on my independent, albeit anecdotal polling, most are still more concerned with the outcome of this years American Idol
than any election. We have become a nation whose majority are MORONS..............God help us ALL!!!!!!!!!

She's not going to win by 30 points. Despite Fast Eddie's special sauce, Phila. and Pitts. will come out big for Obama. Unions used to hold sway in PA, but no more. There isn't a large Hispanic population in PA, so Hillary can't count on that.

Don't discount a big GOP crossover to vote Obama. I'm considering it myself, but want to wait another week or so and see how the polls shake out. If it stays in single digits for Hillary, I won't bother.

They are all going to lay low for a few weeks. Fox will have to put Hannity in tap dancing shoes for ratings.

Hey Hillary may not have to worry about putting Barak on the bottom of her ticket if it continues like this.

Pennsylvania is a closed primary...you can't crossover in that state.

“Good, we don’t want Hillary pulling ahead”

A year ago I would be sick at the thought of Hillary clinton running for President. Today, I hope she wins.

Dems going out in droves to vote for a candidate that speaks only of change.
When will we demand an answer, change what?
Yes, if he should win, then we will find out.

Change our government.
Appoint muslin's to every high office in the land.
Stop airport checks so our enemy can travel freely to America.
Sell guns to our enemies in the middle east.
Change the vacation White House to a house in Iran.

Better ask questions before you vote.
Oh-I forgot-we have congress to prevent all this happening.
Really—Pelosi is giving tax breaks to Chavez.
She would probably love to vacation in Iran.
Ted Kennedy would probably think this was a great idea.
I could go on and on.

And don't we already have 2 congress members that are muslin.
Their plan is working.
Take over our country while we just sit and smile.

This is how the Chinese got our defense secrets when B Clinton was President—and we just smiled.

Now call me anything you wish, I am 73, have seen a lot of changes in the world. so many of them good. ?????
