5+5 = 82!! G-Man, from his top secret post, reported two groups of five, over the weekend, all of whom who were later apprehended. This brings his total since January 1, 2008 to 82.
An Iraqi War Veteran and his younger brother, traveling the 48 contiguous United States, spent some time on the Border with The Campo Minutemen.
We are not sure what Chinook Helicopter was doing at the border. It makes a couple of runs a day.
CAMPO UPDATE
Campo Minutemen bump!
I believe thats a SeaKnight, Navy aircraft. It is shorter than the chinook and has only one landing gear in front.
Definately a Sea Knight. Looks like US Marines on the side. They are a naval service and all their birds are bought from the Navy’s side of the budget...
Your are right - Marines. Had not heard the Marines were watching the border.
The helicopter may be ferrying members of the Border Patrol’s Air Mobile Unit. The AMU goes out to remote locales that are difficult to reach by land.
We have been out there for almost 3 years - the helicopters just showed up a week ago.
fun, creative math
The helos are probably going to Marine Corps Air Station, Yuma. The border area is used quite often by Marine Air to transit between San Diego and Yuma.
