If Obama falls for that line he is the biggest fool in the universe. And probaly be the deadest shortly thereafter.

As I've been saying for many years, I'm worried about VICE President Clinton.
Think of it:
Two years and one day into her term the first slotter gets arkincided
Under Article XXII, she can still run for two full terms as the incumbent
The Glorious Hillary! Decade begins
Hillary uses the Patriot Act to it's fullest extent, and beyond
At the end of the Glorious Hillary! Decade there is a National Emergency "temporarily" delaying the elections
Under the pressure of the National Emergency, the 2nd and 22nd amendments are repealed
By the time the National Emergency is over all the 'improved' source code for the touch screen electronic balloting will be in place......
Just as an aside, with the Clinton's well known love of 'ethnics', Obama is very expendable, isn't he?

I hope the Clintons are desperate because I want Obama to be the candidate who runs against McCain. Unfortunately, the adjective that I fear fits the Clintons this week is “emboldened”. Extensive polling indicates that HRC is getting traction with older Democrats, blue collar workers, and women. If HRC racks up wins in big primaries in April, she will NOT go away and the Dems may be persuaded she'd be the stronger candidate to run against McCain. (I agree with this assessment.) I fear that Obama has peaked and that HRC’s criticism of the media, coupled with her appearance on SNL, led to a turning point and an increase in support for her among Democrats. I hope I'm wrong, but I fear HRC really has made a comeback.

Veeps tied to the Clintons... not your best career move.
I’ll give ya Gore came awful close, but still what an anchor those two were for his run at the WH.
Given the soap opera Bill and Hill would create in the White House, Obama would be better running as a cleanup candidate in 2012.

Sounds like HillBill can see the handwriting on the wall.
This might be an attempt to recover what they can, cut their losses and reposition the troops.
If they can pull off a double bill, then they may be able to get the senator from NY in power "post mortem" so to speak.

LOL! That was exactly my thought .. Obama better watch his back if he is ignorant enough to take such a deal.
When you’re as power hungry as the Clintons .. THEY WILL DO ANYTHING .. AND I MEAN ANYTHING .. to get back in power.

Exactly that perception is what some believe would alienate the black voters in November from the demonrat ticket.

Exactly, and it gets blamed on “right-wing militants” which enables her to use the Patriot Act as she sees fit.
