NEW YORK (AP) - The bow tie is out at MNSBC. David Gregory is replacing Tucker Carlson as host of a one-hour show each evening. The news network is making a handful of changes to respond to heavy political interest. Gregory's new show is called "Race for the White" and will be on each weekday at 6 p.m. starting next Monday.

Carlson has been at MSNBC for nearly three years.

Even David Gregory & PMSNBC admits what Rush is saying about the white, male voter being key in 2008:

"Gregory's new show is called "Race for the White" and will be on each weekday at 6 p.m. starting next Monday."

Ah, yes, MSNBC covering the "Race for the White"!!!

And how many times in that hour do you think they’ll utter the word “NASCAR”?

If Fox put on a show called “Race for the Black,” Al Sharpton would have a picket line up in 10 minutes, and David Gregory would spend his hour bemoaning the bigoted, non-inclusive policies of Fox News.

That’s okay. Won’t he be getting his lead-in from Keith “Countdown to no ratings” Olberbinladin?

Okay, okay: obviously it yet another one of AP’s header gaffes but it’s FUNNY. Who knows, though, it might just be the real name and they are on to what Rush is saying: then it would be TOO FUNNY.

Check the link yourself:

The news network is making a handful of changes to respond to heavy political interest.

In other words MSNBC will not have even the slightest notion of a Conservative voice on its shows.

show each evening.

Talk about going from bad to MUCH WORSE.

I may not agree with Mr. Carlson a fair bit of the time.

But that being said, he had a decent evening show...
until MSNBC moved him to afternoons and destroyed the fun atmosphere
of his evening show.

NBC's David Gregory accused of partisanship for confronting White House with ISG findings Summary: Following a confrontation between Tony Snow and NBC's David Gregory, numerous conservative media figures attacked Gregory, calling him "angry," "partisan," "grouchy," and "ignorant," and claiming that he is "doing this for personal gain."

"personal gain"?

Guess it worked -

This man is a pig - dimwitted, uber-partisan, and sometimes appears to be in his cups...

Good grief.

Not much in the personality dept either - he's too consumed with hate. I guess NBC has a death wish

From the article:

“Keith Olbermann’s popular “Countdown” program will rerun every night at 10.”

He’s lucky if he gets a national audience the size of a small California town.

So, let me get this straight - Keith Olberbinladen is considered “popular” by the AP but President Bush is not?

FNC didn’t want Carlson or he would have jumped years ago. But then who DOES want Carlson?? He is a quirky guy and not exactly a conservative icon of any kind having done nothing for the party that anybody can name.

PMSNBC thinks they can attract non-socialists by putting on a token ‘conservative’ but yet they can’t get their hands on anybody that actual conservatives want to hear from. I’m sure John Kasich is on their short list but, like Joe Scarborough, being an effective and conservative Congressman is no guarantee that you are not a complete dud as a television personality and no guarantee that you are conservative personally.
