A 24-year-old Wheaton, Illinois resident was arrested for making e-mail threats against the University of Illinois-Chicago campus. Mahtab Shirani was nabbed Tuesday, February 26th, by members of the Chicago FBI’s Joint Terrorism Task Force (JTTF), according to John W. Richardson, Chief of the University Police Department.
Shirani was charged in a criminal complaint filed in federal court in Chicago with one count of making threats through use of interstate commerce, which is a felony offense.
According to the police complaint, an individual subsequently identified as Shirani, who is a student at the University, sent an anonymous e-mail to a university administrator threatening a repeat of the shooting incident that had taken place the previous day at Northern Illinois University. The threat stated that a group of five individuals would carry out the attack sometime during the spring 2008 semester. However, the caller failed to give a reason for making the threat.
Subsequent investigation by the university's police officers determined that the threatening e-mail was sent from a computer in the campus

Having retired from working at the Univ. of Illinois at Chicago a few years ago, I can tell you that this campus is a hotbed of Islamic radicals. Especially Hamas and Hezbollah. There is a large contingent of Pali’s at UIC, and they are always marching around campus protesting something. I watched them one day outside my office window, when I heard a ruckus down below. The UIC Pavilion (a big auditorium) is where Louis Farrakhan gives his big speeches periodically. UIC is on the south side of the central city (in fact Jane Addams’ Hull House is right on campus). The surrounding neighborhoods of the University are multiethnic (Chinatown nearby), Hispanic neighborhoods, Black neighborhoods, Greektown immediately north of campus. Lots of Arabs have moved to the near south side of the City, and to the south suburbs. Many of them go to UIC. Now, this Muzzie lady is actually from a very conservative Western suburb of Chicago, Wheaton, which is unusual. Wheaton is home to Wheaton College which is a bastion of conservative fundamentalist students (Dennis Hastert went there). There is a big Billy Graham Center on campus. How a Muzzie wandered into Wheaton is an interesting question, but they are everywhere now in the Chicagoland area, including the suburbs. I live in Downers Grove, a western suburb of Chicago not far from Wheaton. When I go to my local Walmart now, it’s like a Tower of Babel. You almost need a translator to go into the store. The wave of the future, coming to a metropolitan area near you. The third world has arrived.
If this is her real picture, she should be wearing a burkha! She sure looks sullen and moody! Must be the American fast food diet!

I’m just guessing, but I’ll bet the prosecutors didn’t press that hard to keep her in jail. Doubtless on FBI advice it was decided that being able to watch her movements and monitor her communications while out of custody would be more useful in finding the five (or other four) plotters.
I hope they watch her closely. She doesn’t seem too bright to me. Sadly you just don’t know anymore who is dangerous or not. Using your school computer seems pretty stupid to me. Who knows if there are any others even involved....
On a daily basis there are Islamoturds plotting and planning to kill Americans, inside this Country. With a Election cycle ongoing I have yet to hear ANY politician speak to this issue.
