Thankfully McCain isn’t so stupid that he would put Romney on the ticket with him.

Oh please. The Sean, Laura, etc. crowd settled on Romney.
Even Laura said that there is good reason for conservatives to be skeptical about Romney. Mark my words, they settled.
If McCain loses, it won’t be Romney in ‘12. There will be a real conservative who will come along.

I heard Romney this morning on Bill Bennett’s radio show. I didn’t get the idea that he would accept a position in a McCain administration. I didn’t hear the entire interview, however.

Tell me how Romney’s going to make up for the fact that McCain looks like biscuit dough. I don’t think that Romney can overcome both the hair differential and the dough-like complexion too.

Yeah. Romney's a real vote getter. He wowed them in the primaries.
He got the second most votes behind McCain. He came in First or Second in most of the races in which he participated.

Are you kidding? The only way McCain could lose the South would be to put an openly homosexual African-American Muslim transvestite on the ticket.

"He is the smartest guy around ....he knows economics...(McCains weakness)"
This is pure spin. Romney headed Bain Capitol
The investment activities of Bain Capital's affiliates include private equity & venture capital as well as long/short public equity, credit products and global macro hedge funds.
He was the mouth piece for the firm. He was a sales person for a venture capitol firm, head cheerleader, big kahuna, He sold the firm to clients. The firm included economists. Mitt does not have the experience or the know how to be an economic adviser.
I guess talking points do work for the uninformed. So what that he made a ton of money with Staples. He is not an economist, just a suit with lots of connections. Google Venture Capitol and let me know how that qualifies Mitt to lead the American economic interests.

Great. Romney adds nothing politically to McCain's effort. He's not a conservative. He won't help McCain carry the South. All he adds is money and as we saw in the primary, $100 million wasn't enough to convince voters that Mitt Romney is really more conservative than his record.
He would be a horrible choice for VP. If Flip really wants a position in the McCain admin, make him Secretary of the Treasury or something.

One liberal on the ticket was one too many. Adding Romney would mean two liberals. No thanks.
Exactly. If Romney is VP, that's two libs on the ticket. I'll be about 75% likely to go 3rd party in that case.

Wow. The anti-McCain crowd is also anti-Romney.
Why is that a surprise? Conservatives like to vote for Conservative candidates. McCain only barely qualifies. Romney doesn't at all.

Romney is more conservative than McCain. Neither are actually Conservatives, but I will vote for McCain over either democrat and Romney will help me to feel better about doing it.
Why anyone wants to hand another win to the left is beyond me.
