Jon Elrod, despite his best efforts, was unsuccessful in taking down the Democrat machine in the Special Election that occurred yesterday in Indiana's 7th. Reuters
INDIANAPOLIS (Reuters) - Indiana voters on Tuesday elected a Muslim to Congress, only the second of that faith chosen in U.S. history.
Andre Carson, grandson of the late Democrat Rep. Julia Carson, was elected to serve the balance of her term in the U.S. House of Representatives in a special election.
The article goes on to say that Carson converted to Islam a little over a decade ago. This is a fact that hadn't even affected my decision to support Elrod, though it would've. I have plenty of questions for any followers of The Religion of Pieces. Carson will face a primary in May to get his own party's nod to run in the actual election in November, where he just may face Elrod again (I believe). This is a race to watch.
Demography is destiny, I’m afraid.
If someone had told me in October of 2001 that there would be any muslims elected to federal office, and that the democrat front-runner would be named Barack Hussein Obama, I’d have fallen off my chair in laughter.

Are people in Indiana awake? Do they keep their heads buried in the sand (or dirt, or whatever they have in Indiana)? I can’t believe that people are that willing to turn their government over to people whose religion is the most intolerant on the face of the planet.

It has reached the point where it is not funny any more. Since they have killed 3000 of my country men I do not like them very much no matter what banner they fly.

The Indiana 7th district exists to elect minority candidates. It consists of Indianapolis proper, but none of the affluent suburbs.
That's only the approximate count of those killed on 9/11/01. These Islamo-facists have been murdering our citizens and military personnel much longer than that. What the actual number is I don't know, but it is higher than 3000.
Minority candidates are one thing. Electing a person who is a member of the most intolerant religion on earth is something else.
Local media had a COMPLETE BLACKOUT on the word “Muslem” concerning Carson.
It was like it was a gag order! If someone even STARTED to mention it on local radio, they got cut off.

In reality, given the amount of support Carson got from Local Media, The money from the DCCC and the DLC, and the local machine, the un-party-supported and nearly broke ELROD did AMAZINGLY well.

BIG National Dem money was used for carpet bombing Carson advertising.
Elrod had a few tv commercials the 2 days before the election.
Unfortunately unless we get a good turnout in November the result won’t change.

The adverts for al-Carson’s Dem primary opponents started today.
I really doubt there are even two Muslims in our government. I question the authenticity of his faith unless he has a rap sheet that hasn’t come out yet. He should be slaying the infidels. I think he’s a fake.

You are right. 3000 was just the approximate number killed on 9/11. For some reason I do not like anything Muslim and never will.
