After being forced to respond to three separate incidents in recent weeks of conservatives alluding to Barack Obama's middle name, John McCain's campaign manager today sent a memo to top supporters urging them to stick to the campaign's preferred message -- and to avoid taking gratuitous shots at their Democratic rivals.
"We expect that all supporters, surrogates and staff will hold themselves to similarly high standards when they are representing the campaign. To help guide you, please find talking points below."

Me, though I don't support His Emperor, have nevertheless, taken the high road and have taken to refer to B.O. as "Barack ("Peace Be Upon His Middle No Name") Obama.
For all who have (and continue to) criticize those of us (as well as Rush for suggesting same) who voted for The Beast, this is just more proof that unless the Dhummy nomination process is extended thru the convention, and Hitlery and her surogates such as Geraldine Ferraro, take the fight to B.O., no one on the Republican side will dare lay a glove on The Presumptive Annointed One.
The tumult, confusion and chaos which is being exibited within the DemoRat party is something to be savored and encouraged and cannot but help hurt them and could even end up splintering them if it ends up getting out of hand. We can only hope and pray.
McCain has morphed in to a pansy or is senile. Neither of which we need as CiC.

This conservative is not addicted to aisle-crossing, especially when one considers the historically odious bunch across the aisle.

Pathetic journalism. The campaign manager was not FORCED to respond. The campaign manager and his candidate CHOSE to respond, because they are afraid of taking on the real enemy. Instead, McCain's campaign seems inclined to attack CONSERVATIVES instead of liberals.

Calling Obama by his middle name is okay on Talk Radio and FR. In the real world, it is best to attack Obama’s Marxist record. Obama poses a challenge for conservatives. Any criticism of Obama is seen thru a racist smell test.

I haven’t taken shots at his name but if it irritates McCain so much I’m tempted to do so. But I’m certainly not going to insult people who do choose to do so.
Every day, McCain shows why he will not win this election. He keeps censoring others and shooting his allies in the back.
