Sounds like she got sucked into this business through an ex-boyfriend when she was broke. Here's some advice for everyone out there; If someone you're with even suggests you prostitute yourself to make ends meet, leave them! They aren't doing it to make ends meet, they're doing it to make money off of you, and when the heat falls, and it will fall, it will fall on you and they'll be gone.

First, that can’t be her real name.
Second, did you notice her “friends” section? It’s all celebrities. I doubt very much they are all her “friends”.
Why am I getting that horrible feeling that we’re going to be subjected to looking at Ashley Dupre ad nauseum for a very long time? Between wall to wall interviews, Oprah, her reality show, the Playboy spread, her debut album, and budding acting career and clothing line, we are screwed.

Honestly, I think NOW she’s on top of the world. She’s probably just one in a crowd of competent musical performers all desperately trying to get noticed. And she just got noticed BIG TIME. She will have her first recording contract sewed up very soon. Along with the book deal and movie deal. She wanted to be a celebrity performer. She made it. She’s home free. Not the life I would choose, for sure, but it sounds like it’s what she really wants. And she’ll probably make enough money that when she matures and wants something else, she can have that too.
I give her a 7-diamond rating on the Spitzer scale.

WE are screwed, for sure. She’ll probably be all over Fox and CNN too, as part of the “news” programming (Oprah, reality shows, and Playboy I don’t need to worry about running in to, YMMV). However, SHE is, ummm, no pun intended, NOT screwed. Spitzy’s loss is her gain.

No kidding. When it's all totalled up, the romp with "Kristen" will have cost him tens of millions. And then there's the fall from highly-respected-in-certain-circles bigshot to subject of adolescent gigglefests at his daughters' school.
It seems like this particular encounter, among the many Spitzer arranged through this agency, was what the feds were waiting for before going public about the investigation. I don't think they had enough to definitely, directly, damningly connect Spitzer until this particular appointment went down.
1) What is this person doing to make my life better? (financial, intel, drive, networking etc.)
2) How does this person make me feel? (happy, sad, motivated, depressed, constantly doubting, drama, etc.)
3) How is this person a positive influence in my life? (do they share the same interests, same dreams, does that person make me better when i am with them, or when they are in my life…i would be the same person if they werent in my life, but its just better with them in it…is my best interest always number one in their head AND heart, etc.)
from all this, i mean…
*Does that person make you feel good?
*Does that person drive you to be better?
*Is that person right there behind you when things arent that good, or even if they are??
*Will that person be an asset to your life…(will that person have value): doesn’t have to be financial, i am talking respect, courage, and umm RESPECT.
If you are in a relationship, and it is “doing absolutly nothing” for you, makes you feel bad about yourself or situations, just causing unessesary drama, and ruining things that you may actually care about…why would you want that in your life?? you need to surround yourself with the people that make you feel good, and that will help you get to that next step in your life. that is what a relationship is all about…growing and moving forward.

Ashley Dupre is not the name I recall the media saying Spitzer was with. Is Ashley another one he was with?
Ashley is her real name, “Kristen” (note the quotes) was what she went by on the job.
I’d like to hear her version of “Sittin’ on the Spitz”, sung to the tune of “Puttin’ on the Ritz”.
She didn’t cost $5500 an hour. That was the girls with the “7 diamond” ratings. She was at or near the bottom of the scale, fetching only about $1000 an hour.

Face looks like she’s part or mostly Italian. She’s from New Jersey.
It would be cool if some public figure were to suggest that Mr. AND Mrs. Spitzer make an appearance with this girl to discuss the moral, psychological and spiritual implications of what went on. As a way to atone to his family (particularly his daughters) he could devote himself to finding help for this girl. An old-time rabbi would have urged it as a form of mitzvah and a way to begin building real character.
As one who writes the most unappreciated song parodies on Free Republic, I must give you props for “Prostitutin’ Spitz”. That first 6 lines are as good as it gets anywhere.
