a most excellent post.

whites are neither the culprit behind black cultural problems nor the recourse to fix them

Colin Powell?

another case of being black being his reason for being where he is

the man is about ready to vote for Obama (his words) and has proven to be liberal on many issues and yet he is still touted on a conservative forum as viable

not to me..

Powell could have been a good candidate in the ‘90’s. I’ll freely admit that this might have changed by now.

I don’t feel compelled to vote black but I would if it were a true conservative....whatever that is today.

Voting for a woman is much harder for me.

I love women but know them too well.

It certainly is the weirdest primary, and I'm enjoying every bit of it from the dims side!

Geraldine said nothing wrong.

What pandering...and you cannot apologize for another person. What an ass.

Not like these clowns. At least McCain and Bush act like adults.

I thought earlier it was posted here that shrillery refused to repudiate Ferraro’s comments??? Can’t find that thread now but thought these old eyes read those words....or maybe that was a scrappleface post....

Anything is possible this election year....

How sweet it is for Hitlery to be bitten in the rear by the very same black voters who have put her and her hubby into power all these years.....all the while she and bubba truly loathed them....

"I certainly do repudiate it and I regret deeply that it was said. Obviously she doesn't speak for the campaign, she doesn't speak for any of my positions, and she has resigned from being a member of my very large finance committee."

"I also disavow any attempt by my campaign to pander or hustle votes based on race. That's why when I'm elected President I will double whatever reparations payments Barbecue Hussein Obama has promised.

Don't forget. I've earned every wrinkle. And y'all know what ahm talking about."

It's no secret the Clintons in their plotting to serve a third term as co-presidents had banked on African American voters, along with Latino and other minorities. I do not think in their calculations that they thought a young black man from Illinois would achieve such an overwhelming challenge to her ascendancy to the throne of power.

Clintons have shown they will use any minority constituency for their own goals, but they have ill-used and abused them to the point of diminishing their importance to the Democrat Party and taking them for granted.

Any apology from a Clinton is only as good as how many people they can snocker for votes.

Dr. King (MLK) was a Republican - and the former President of the Senate Robert Byrd (Democrat) was a member of the KKK. If Billary overplays her hand things will get interesting...

I think Geraldine willingly ‘took one for the team’; i.e. making a remark which, while it may be fact, will be, and already has been, seen as a bad thing to say, but it puts the thought in people’s minds. Hillary said nothing to repudiate it, hoping her non-apology would be enough. It may not be. Remember, we’re talking here about the party-of-the-easily-offended.

The headline says:Clinton Apologizes to Black Voters which is totally wrong. Wrong wrong wrong.

"I want to put that in context. You know I am sorry if anyone was offended. It was certainly not meant in any way to be offensive," Hillary Clinton said.

That is in no way an apology. She isn't sorry if no one was offended. She is only sorry if she is called on it. That is not contrition. Contrition is knowing that what you participated in was wrong, whether you were caught or not.

True contrition is a sign of maturity. This is simply immature politicking and more sleaze. Nothing more.

But that is in no way what Hillary said. She is neither honest nor moral nor mature enough to actually apologize.
