Poland Questions the Missile Shield
The formerly staunch US ally has shifted its tone, and now an ambitious pet project of the Bush administration -- a missile shield to protect Europe and the United States -- is no longer a sure thing in Poland.
Until recently, it looked like the US missile defense shield was a done deal when it came to cooperation with Poland. Although no formal agreement had been signed, the government under Prime Minister Jaroslaw Kaczynski seemed eager to make the Americans happy -- and was even willing to ignore European Union concerns when it came to feting their Washington friends.

They agreed already. Done deal, past tense. Get over it Germany. You're a bunch of wienies and the missile shield, the most significant NATO system of the last two decades will not be based in Germany. Revel in your insignificance and ueber intellect.
The eastern Europeans have no desire to repeat the past, based on some tepid assurances by the same western Europeans who allowed them to be enslaved for 45 years.
BTW - it is for sure not a bad living being insignificant and intellectual.
The thing is that you should pay compensation to Poland and the Chechzs, since they have to pay for those bases through getting a terrorist target and disturbed relations to the Russians while getting nothing.
