King 5 news this morning was talknig about the protests today in Tacoma, and pretty much implied that if there’s trouble today it will be because we showed up.
The reporter said that the protesters don’t bother the military, and the military doesn’t bother the protesters, so there’s only trouble when counterprotesters show up and that’s why the police are coming.
Nice.
You have got to be kidding me? Leave it to the news to make us the bad guys.
By the way a Tacoma Mall worker and military wife wrote me and said the story about the mall closing at noon is not true. This is another way the local news is trying to give victory to the protesters before the event even happens.
You are right, King 5 repeated the story at 8:04.
The protest spokeswomen said “they are there to shut down the recruitment center which prays on young kids and poor minorities and turns them into war criminals” How stupid can people be?
My husband and I are both retired military, and we haven’t had the urge to run into the streets screaming and shooting the neighbors for several months now. Our training must be wearing off.
