What I would do if I wanted to defeat America

Posted on 03/14/2008 9:49:40 AM PDT by reaganator

America is the world's greatest miltary and economic superpower. America's military cannot be defeated in war, America's economy CAN be brought down thus weakening the military.

The first thing, of course, attack capitalism. This would be done in a way disguised in good intentions, protecting the natural environment. Endless restrictions would be placed on business of all kinds. Oil is the lifeblood of the American economy. The development of new oil fields would have to be hampered. The maunfacture of gasoline and other traditional and proven fuels as well must be hampered.

In the name of protecting the enviroment a phoney crisis would be promoted with endless and perpetual propaganda which would drastically add to restrictions, limitations and goverment control on American manufacturers. This phoney crisis would be taught in all public schools as fact. I would have Congress buy scientists into going along with this by budgeting $5 billion annually into the study of this hoax. The man made climate change hoax.

I would have Congress buy off the midwest politicians and farmers into putting their corn into a phoney alternative fuel hoax, ethanol. To produce one gallon of ethanol more than one gallon of fossil fuel is used throughout the process. All kinds of "alternative energy" considerations would be encouraged. Anything other than producing more of the decades long proven energy sources. If traditional energy were to be somehow greatly increased in production this would save the economy from ruin. It must be not allowed to happen if America is to be defeated.

I would have Congress pressure lending institutions into giving mortgages to high risk borrows. This could be done by showing racial disparity in mortgages overlooking the credit risk. The ensuing foreclosure crisis would be very detrimental.

I would have a Republican President when even though the opposition party is openly trying to undermine the economy and current war efforts NOT engage in an attempt to completely political defeat them. In fact, this President would reach across the aisle and try to get along with the Democrats. He would extend unemployment benefits, which promotes and extends unemployment.

I would allow the oil Industry to fail in not adequately supplying it's product so in the name of national security the government would have to step in and nationalize this industry. I would encourage this to happen also in health care. Any private market solutions to make any program such as Social Security solvent and workable must not happen. The more people getting a check of any kind from the federal or state government the better. This must be expanded. People will allow themselves to be paid off into being passive during the defeat of their nation.

Then the United States will no longer be a economic and military superpower. Many consider the USA to be the main threat to world peace. I agree, you better believe that the United States IS the main threat to world peace.

The United States saved all mankind from world peace three times during the 20th century. WW I, WWII, and from world tryanny of the Soviets.

There will be world peace when Free men lose and the entire world is dominated be tyranny. All that stands between this outcome and Free Nations is the United States of America, mankind's last best hope for Freedom and Liberty, the world's economic and military superpower.

GOD BLESS AMERICA! NOW LET'S DEFEAT THE LIBERAL, SOCIALIST DEMOCRATS, PRESSURE McCAIN INTO TURNING AWAY FROM LIBERALISM AND "GETTING ALONG", AND LET'S MAUNFACTURE SOME GASOLINE!

“I would have Congress pressure lending institutions into giving mortgages to high risk borrows. “

I don’t recall the banks complaining when they were making huge profits prior to the bubble bursting. lol

But point taken.

Hey, no fair. I don’t think that any of those are original ideas at all. Can’t you come up with some of your own?

What I wonder is why there is no organized movement or prominent leadership on this issue.

“What I would do if I wanted to defeat America?”

Jeopardize winning the WOT by making certain our borders remain effectively unsecured.

Why in the world would I want defeat? That’s ridiculous. One of the main reasons the USSR went down, is because they spent all their money trying to keep up with us. The terrorists and our other enemies know that if we keep going like we have been, we will have to leave the ME, just because sooner or later, we will realise just how expensive it is.

I'll take issue with that. Yes, we should build more refineries and drill for more oil. But to say all alternative energy is a boondoggle like ethanol is simply wrong. In fact, when oil was cheap, the government should have been encouraging economically viable alternatives rather than giving money to the Saudis. But in the West we were stuck on "stupid", just as this author says we should continue to be.

BTW, we didn't win WW1. Maybe we tipped the scales with our short involvement, but to insist we won that war denigrates what the Brits and French did.

Trojan Horse political candidates to win office and start undermining the government and its foreign policy decisions.

I have news for you, the WOT has been and continues to be a success, this is no time for retreat. How would I know why you want defeat? Only you know that.

A question for you. Is Al Qaeda currently in Iraq?

What a stupid question! All you have to do is wait a few months after next Nov. and you will be able to just walk across our border and take over!

Ethanol is a hoax. The promotion of “alternative energy” is obviously contributing to the increase in production of decades long proven traditional energy sources.

You mean people like Ron Paul, Alan Keyes, Glenn Beck, and others that are made out to be complete nut jobs by the establishment leadership and people on this board?

You suggest we stop spending trilions of dollars in Iraq. Excuse me if I’m wrong but I took this as you suggesting the Iraq theater of the War on Terror should be defunded and the American military withdrawn. Would this not be promoting defeat?

I would destroy the moral fiber of America by using some tools , like “diversity” and “Political Correctness”.

I would start teaching the children about sex and that bad is good and good is bad and stop teaching mathematics and physics.

Or perhaps history that did not happen.

Okay, I get it. You think that continuing to spend billions on the promotion of a stable ally in the Middle East will be another contributing factor to the defeat of America. You were not promoting defeat of the American military you were suggesting that continuing to fund the military involvement would contribute to the defeat of America.

Sorry, I stand corrected.

HEY! I’m a registered Democrat! March 4th here in Ohio the poll worker crossed me off the Republican list and put me on the Democrat list so I could vote for Hillary.

hee hee hee

We need John McCain to know that the leftist socialist Democrats need to be completely politically defeated. Nothing less!

We don’t not want bipartisanship, we don’t want Republicans and Democrats working together we want the complete defeat of the Democratic party.

Leftists never can answer my question.

“OK, let’s say you AREN’T supporting America’s defeat in the war on terror... what would you be doing differently if you were?”

Hell, McCain won’t even run if his opponent is Obama - wouldn’t want to be “racist”, now, would he?

I like that.

“If the Democrats were not promoting defeat of the American military what would they be doing differently if they were?”

That is a real question. Do any Democrats or “moderates” or “independants” or “libertarians” have a real answer?
