Rasmussen – Obama support drops
Rasmussen Daily Presidential Tracking Poll ^ | Saturday, March 15, 2008 | Rasmussen Poll

Posted on 03/15/2008 11:23:34 AM PDT by GVnana

The Rasmussen Reports daily Presidential Tracking Poll for Saturday shows Barack Obama and Hillary Clinton essentially even in the race for the Democratic Presidential Nomination. It’s Obama 46% Clinton 45% (see recent daily results). This reflects an unusually sharp change from yesterday’s results when Obama led by eight points and reached the 50% level of support for the first time. Daily tracking results are collected via nightly telephone surveys and reported on a four-day rolling average basis. Last night’s results were very favorable for Clinton and it remains to be seen whether this marks a lasting change in the race or is merely statistical noise. Single night results are based upon very small samples and are more volatile than the overall tracking poll.

Looking to November, John McCain now holds a slight lead over both Democrats in the General Election. It’s McCain 47% Obama 42% and McCain 46% Clinton 42% (see recent daily results). It appears that Clinton’s challenges to Obama may be helping McCain at least in the short-term. McCain’s polling numbers against Obama began improving during the run-up to the hard-fought Democratic Primaries in Ohio and Texas. Obama has a three-percentage point edge over McCain among unaffiliated voters but is currently supported by just 65% of Democrats. By way of comparison, McCain earns the vote from 80% of Republicans.

Perhaps 95% of blacks who turn out will vote for Hillary.

But the turnout will be lousy.

"Uh, wrong. Sean Hannity had been talking about it for months on Hannity & Colmes, but Brian Ross, of ABC News, broke the story in the national media this week."

There were also articles about Rev. Wright's "Black Values System" here on FR a LONG time before that.

“I forgot how Ringo was one lucky guy.”

I suppose because he came into the Beatles right before they became famous and fabulously wealthy. Pete Best, whom he replaced, was probably one of the unluckiest.

Today America has two Hero’s of the week:
The good Rev. Jeremiah Wright
and
The lovely Ashley Alexandra Dupré

True American hero’s the both of ‘em.

FR should have a running Hero of the week thread.

"But watch. In November,95% will be at the polls casting a pro-Hillary vote."

Perhaps a large percentage of those that vote will, but I doubt that turn out among black voters will be very high if Hillary wins the nomination.

“FR opinions change on whose the more easier to beat Dem than a premenstrual symptom schizophrenic women. ;-)”

The opinions change in reaction to current events, and Rush’s Operation Kaos is either lauded or cursed in light of those events.

I suspect a longer term strategy at work. In the midst of battle a particular strategy does not always appear “a good idea.”

I think that Obama is a con man and that he learned all his techniques from his “spiritual adviser”.

It wouldn't surprise me to learn that both Wright and Obama are more Irish than African.

The do overs won’t help hillary that much. Barak will take michigan. And he’ll take a good chunk of florida. I think barak will still take north carolina. IT’s still gonna be a pretty close race. It might be time for republicans to quit voting for hillary though. We’ve still got plenty of time to figure out if that is the case. It’s still just a little too early to tell how much damage barak has suffered and how much of that damage is going to stick long term.

There’s still the issue of lots of big name democrats in washington that are in full support of barak. And there’s the issue of delegates for john edwards. I really think the MSM killed john edwards. I think he should’ve had far more votes. It started out in iowa as a three way tie, remember?

It will probably be less than in 2004,thats true. The younger blacks will feel especially betrayed.
Yet Mc Cain will not benefit directly since almost no blacks favor him as an alternative.

Wow, it took a poll to figure that out?

I would wager that most of us Freepers could have made that prediction without the need for any poll.

Just think how fast and far he would have sank if the MSM had not been shilling for him and soft-pedalling this glaring character flaw.

Everything is in flux right now.Michigan is a funny state that could go either way, depending on inner city turnout.
I think the smart thing for Republicans looking to monkey wrench the Dems is to go all out for Obama. That SHOULD have happened in Texas but Rush blew that strategy to smitherreens and now it looks like Hillary has the edge.

Good afternoon.

I think he learned most of his techniques from Saul Alinsky and Frank Marshall Davis.

Just remember why. And shudder at the realization that Obama's ears are even bigger than Ringo's!
