BTW, no pictures from Boulder.
None from Ann Arbor, either:
About 350, and this : )
But not everyone agreed.
The marchers were confronted by a few hecklers - in most cases, college-age kids in green shirts apparently celebrating St. Patrick’s Day.
One man, who declined to identify himself other as than a 21-year-old college student, ran along the sidewalk next to the march, shouting: “USA! ... Beat Al-Qaeda!” and “Marine Corps!”
He told a reporter he believes the war is one of the most effective military campaigns ever, and the marchers were whining and crying about nothing.
His friend, Danielle Yapp of Ann Arbor, said she supports the war and President Bush. “I think it’s unbelievable that they walk through this town like nothing’s wrong,” she said. Terrorism is a serious threat that requires military action, Yapp said.
Thanks for the links. Interesting reading. But I think that our rallies and counter rallies are making a difference. We all are educating a lot of people that believe the biased MSM.
