Doesn’t this whole OB’s church mess and some calling it “normal” explain why 90% of the black vote is democrat.

You are correct. The real scandal is how the Drive-Bys and the rest of the liberal Establishment have been able to hide this widespread paranoid buffoonery from the public.

Compare the surprise with this assclown church with the constant depiction in the media of conservative Christian congregations.

Some of this is, in my opinion, just a racket.

The race hustlers make lots of dough and have lots of influence. Their sychophantic followers might well realize that their speeches often go over the top, but they don’t care. Either they like hearing “whitey” damned and excoriated so much because it serves some need inside them, or as hangers on they, too, are somehow benefiting from the influence and financial success of such racialists.

I read somewhere that Wright’s home in Chicago is worth three quarters of a mill or some such number. I bet it would be fascinating to track his finances. The apparent and the hidden as well.

Also to look into some of the clappers, jumpers and shouters in his church and find out what they are gaining by their affiliation with it and him.

I agree with you.

I just don't think that black preachers are full of hate and anger like Rev Wright seems to be. African-Americans that I know are good people, very caring.

What is happening?

My family and I visited a black church in Atlanta a few years ago (we were the only white people in the building). The message was inspiring and the members treated us like family. Very enjoyable.

No, when I’m driving around I flip through stations. Believe me, I don’t seek them out!

Actually, the worst was when I lived in New York City. I heard stuff on the radio there that stunned me - and not only preachers, but morning hosts on black-audience stations who in between playing the latest hip-hop music would rant about whitey and imply that genocide wasn’t truly a bad idea - that really made me wonder if whites have any idea about the depth of hatred that is out there.

She's welcome to prove her case by producing film clips of worse. That wouldn't be the smartest move politically, but she'd be welcome to try it.

The right-wing attack machine, cable news, talk radio, the internet, went crazy on this and they will not stop.

Who didn't see this coming? The thing has Hillary's fingerprints all over it and this clown is blaming the Republicans. That is, of course the default reaction when anything unpleasant happens but it isn't going to help Obama against She Who Must Not Be Named.

She is a bright individual and she is saying this purposefully. She knows the msm is in the tank for hussein and that if they deny, deny, deny it may go away.

God knows, those who follow hussein are following a pied piper. She, along with others are trying to cash in on a decade long transition into a multiculturalism state where a form of "affirmative action" is or might be entering politics....

If you look at Wright’s auto-biographical statements, he came from a privileged family. He didn’t get turned away from anything for being black, this is nothing more than a scam for this guy.

If that’s true, there is a cancer in the soul of Black America.

THis is what makes it extremely difficult for mixed couples or white people to raise black children. As soon as they get a bellyful of it from their peers and the media they start hating their parents. I’m not saying BHO hates his mother for being white, I’m just sayin’.

That’s one of the profanities he uses from the pulpit, as a matter of fact.

I think she maybe right. The animosity and outright hatred as exhibited by Pastor Wright might be tepid as compared to others. I, along with most, have been unaware of Black Liberation Theology. No more.

A few newspapers and television networks no longer control the news. The power they have lost is to decide what is and what is not news. The Internet, talk radio and cable TV now determine almost instantly what is and what is not newsworthy.

Quite a bit, actually. She wins the thing throwing dirt on Obama, and continues the campaign blaming the Republicans for it. His people fall in line behind her, or at least enough to get the job done. It matters a lot.

Read Shelby Steele’s works for an analysyis.

The biggest danger to ‘black victim identity’ is the black man who is a success.

“To stop this threat, the black identity censors individuality by enforcing a rigid ‘party line’...

The party line itself is a loose series of broad assumptions: . . . that white racism and racial discrimination are still the primary black problems. . . that institutional racism is automatically present in the workplace. . . that blacks are not ‘given’ enough chances to advance. . . that high black crime rates are the outgrowth of victimization. . . etc.

Though there is some truth in many of these assumptions, their overall effect is to make the black identity an identity of accusation that offers its subscribers a way to recompose their vulnerability into victimization. Nowhere in the current black identity is there a strong theme of responsibility for our own fate, nor are there positive themes that define our character as a people or highlight our many strengths. It is an identity formed in the cauldron of racial politics, and its primary assumptions accuse others and defend ourselves. . .

The woman I mentioned at the outset who always corrected my grammar was blithe to the racial doubt that her efforts brought to life in me. And even when that doubt came to light in my recomposed judgment of her as a racist, she was unwilling to be stopped by it. Without denying it, she would not allow it to have any power. . . Of course, what she did for me was a gift. But this gift was only secondarily related to better grammar. The real gift was that she helped me to see how easy it is to delude oneself where race is concerned. When she would not allow my distortion, I had to see the simplest thing: there was really nothing to be afraid of. “
