Barack Obama had been a presidential candidate for more than a year before he outright repudiated his long-time pastor for racially charged, anti-U.S. sermons. But when talk show host Don Imus was in hot water 11 months ago for racially insensitive comments, Obama was the first candidate to call for his firing.

Theres nobody on my staff who would still be working for me if they made a comment like that about anybody of any ethnic group. And I would hope that NBC ends up having that same attitude, Obama told ABC News in an April 11 interview.OOPS!

some of the worst stereotypes that my two young daughters are having to deal with today in AmericaOh, puleez! That sounds like Michelle and her biased view of this country. If America is so bad, they're more than welcome to leave. And what business is it of Obama's to even get involved in the Imus stuff when he should have been focusing on the security and well being of the nation.
As for his very recent and supposed tsk-tsking of his 20 (20 long years, folks) year pastor, anyone wanna bet it's merely a political move rather than sincerity?

Hey CNN, NY Slime Times, MSLSD, Wash Compost, Clintoon Broadcasting System why don't you mention this gross hypocrisy ? Oh you were so busy burying IMUS but now the new Messiah has become a protected species. Can somebody please revoke their broadcasting license ? Facism is very alive with the new Messiah's campaign and their willing accomplices in the “media”. This reminds me of the Nazi media in Germany, honestly what is the difference it has ALL liberal facist propaganda.

As I have said since day one of Obamas announcement for office, OBAMA IS TWO FACED.
MUSLIMS CAN SAY OR LIE TO NON BELIEVERS ONE THING WHILE DOING ANOTHER.
I do not know if Obama is a closet Muslim but he certainly has lied to the general public about his associating with America and Whitey haters.
Many liberals are supporting him because they would accept the devil to get rid of another Republican administration no matter how RINO.
The bible says beware of false prophets.

Obama's response will probably be that Imus was being broadcast on the public airwaves, and Wright wasn't (unless he had a TV show too?)
But Obama directed his remarks specifically to NBC, which had Imus on a cable channel, not the public airwaves. The owner of the radio station that did broadcast Imus was CBS.

It is sad to see anyone succumb to speech and thought control. Obama, running for POTUS, is not a Jesse Jackson figure. He has to get that straight, or he is fooling not only himself, but his supporters and the MSM....who are also his supporters. As this race/race unfolds, this may well turn out to be a long, hot summer. I do not recall anything like this since the 60's, but I do recall the outcome.

BINGO!!! You have filtered the real message that is contained in the haloed one's speech. It is a message that the followers of Pastor Wright and Pastor Meeks will easily recognize, but which the starstruck, entranced media will never be able to see.

The Obama denunciation of Wright was scripted and choreographed in August of 2007, and there are transcripts of meetings available that verify that.
To: cornbreadmuffin
RUSH: Folks, did you happen to hear Barack Obama in the second sound bite on the Imus show? He was asked, "Would you ever appear on that show?" "Well, I didn't hear him say that kind of stuff when I was on." Oh, really? You didn't hear Imus say that kind of stuff when you were on? So according to your first interpretation of Reverend Wright, Imus never said anything bad; because you, Obama, said you never heard Reverend Wright say any of this stuff on the tapes, and it was all just out-of-context stuff. We found out you lied about that, and you tried lying about it on your Friday night TV tour. It didn't work so you had to do the big race speech yesterday, in which you finally came clean, Wright did say those things both when you were there and when you weren't there! If Obama is ever elected president, if this hadn't come up, if this hadn't played out, you know what his excuse for anything would have been? He coulda had, say, a secretary of state or any cabinet member do an Eliot Spitzer, and Obama would say, "Well, I had no idea. That didn't happen. I never saw that happen. It didn't happen in my administration, and you can't say it did. I didn't see it, and I didn't hear about that." It's sort of like Bill Clinton and the Waco invasion. You know, Janet Reno launches the Waco invasion. Lots of kids die. They go ask Clinton about it. (Clinton impression) "I... Ha-ha! I had nothing to do about that. You gotta talk to the attorney general about that." He passed the buck back her. "I didn't know about that." (laughter) It's all liberalism, folks! It's just standard, right out of the playbook. (cont.)

Hypocrite indeed....he has a lot of nerve, and how in the heck did he think that his past, his congregation’s past, and his church’s past would not catch up with him? Does he and his ilk really think that they are immune from attack for their anit-white sermons, their anti-white beliefs and their anti-white words because they are black? NO, they are not immune. Do they really believe that race trumps being a child of God? (//venting off))
