MARIETTA - Police have confirmed the driver involved in a fatal accident Sunday evening did not have a United States driver's license and police have yet to locate records to indicate he was a legal immigrant, Officer Mark Bishop with the Marietta Police Department said.
Bishop said Kennesaw resident Nicasio Rodrigo Vicente-Hernandez, 29, was involved in two prior accidents Sunday evening before his third and fatal collision.
Vicente-Hernandez was allegedly fleeing an earlier fender-bender when he sideswiped a second car while heading the wrong way on the Canton Road Connector, Bishop said. Well it wasn’t terrorism so the victims really aren’t dead and our nation is secure.
You can leave a comment at the site. Mine hasn’t shown up yet. Probably never will.
I know it’s not nice to say it, but too bad he didn’t kill himself, instead of two innocent people.
I’m still waiting for someone to come along and tell us this is no big deal since drunk driving U.S. citizens kill people, too.
Yeah I’ve been waiting on that one too.
Sobering.
I drive that connecting road regularly.
According to one of the comments at the Marietta Daily Journal, he was killed.
“I know its not nice to say it, but too bad he didnt kill himself, instead of two innocent people.”
Nicasio Rodrigo Vicente-Hernandez, 29, was trying to get away after a minor traffic accident on Cobb Parkway, near the Canton Road bridge, Sunday about 9 p.m, police said witnesses told them.
Well, then, that’s at least one problem solved.
You be careful!
I was hit by a “No hablo Ingles; no license; no insurance” person going 55 MPH. He made an illegal turn right as I was driving down the 55 MPH main street in So. Cal.
I was hospitalized for ten days. Was hit twice and ended over a median going the wrong way. Lucky cars saw me from the other side or I would be dead.
Bad back to this day because of that car accident.
Prayers to the two persons who died, the injured and family members.
