FOX News Poll: More Than Half Believe Obama Doesn't Share Views of Pastor Wright

Fifty-seven percent of Americans do not believe Democratic presidential candidate Barack Obama shares the controversial views of his former spiritual mentor the Rev. Jeremiah Wright, while about one in four (24 percent) believes he does share the Wright’s views. And a sizable minority has doubts about Obama because of his pastor’s comments, according to a new FOX News poll.
Republicans (36 percent) are more likely than independents (20 percent) and Democrats (17 percent) to think Obama shares Wright’s controversial and unpatriotic views. Whites (25 percent) are more likely than blacks (15 percent) to think so.
Over a third of voters (35 percent) and a quarter of Democrats (26 percent) and independents (27 percent) say Obama’s relationship with Rev. Wright has caused them to have doubts about him. Here the racial breakdown is stark: 40 percent of whites and 2 percent of blacks have doubts.
"One of the hallmarks of Obama’s campaign has been his ability to attract independent voters. This doubt brought on by the Wright controversy has to be troubling for Obama," said Ernest Paicopolos, principal of Opinion Dynamics Corp.

Denile is not a river in Africa. I think most people do not want to believe Obama thinks the way his pastor does. Heck, I don’t like hearing what his pastor believes.
In the 2000 Presidential Election, more than half of the people who could be bothered to vote, voted for a communist.
This poll reflects teh Bill O'Reilly try to be all things to all people view. I heard O'Reilly last night and today letting Obama off the hook for about 75%, in O'Reilly's usual incomprehensible personal opinion.

Osama Hussein Obama isn’t fairing all that well in several polls so I don’t know where the BS came from.
If it’s not this issue it’s something else then that is causing him to be losing ground to Clinton in other polls. And Obama is dropping against McCain in general election polls. So if a majority do not think he holds these vile views of Pastor Wright, more Americans are turning away from Obama for other reasons apparently.

How courageous of Mr. Obama to admittedly hear this racist trash whitey talk at TUCC and say nothing at all to his close friend, spiritual advisor and Mentor that was perpetuating hate talk and flat out lies to his congregation.

Let’s just face it, Blacks voters are just race lemmings. They won’t believe it because it would be seen as a betrayal of Black identity. Remember O.J. and the reaction at Howard University? It has nothing to do with right and wrong, or truth and lies.
Blacks reserve the right to interpret history and culture any way they want. Ergo, the preponderance of TV programming like Black Insights, etc. Such telecasts reveal how many Blacks view their “community” as being distinct and separate from the rest of America. It is from this “community” ideology that they launch off into their other separatist rhetoric.
Obama has exposed the dark underbelly of Black hatred in America. It’s up to us to make sure that we don’t let this socialist Trojan Horse through the gates of democracy.

Seriously, who DO these pollsters call and what do they actually ask them (phraseology)- have they figured out that people might be lying to and toying with them and might not want to reveal what they really think of Obama except in the privacy of a polling booth??
