Obama’s Church: White Church Is The Anti-Christ
Stop the ACLU ^ | 21-Mar-08 | John Stephenson

Posted on 03/21/2008 5:58:56 PM PDT by Jay777

Update: Even more radical! His chruch published the HAMAS terrorist manifesto! Talk about a far-left/socialist church! Perfect for most libtards.

Oh brother! I'm sure something absurd and controversial can be dug up from the church that Obama can't denounce on a daily basis. Now, since the passport breach happened to all three candidates, Obama really can't use it for a distraction without looking ridiculous. McClatchy:

Jesus is black. Merging Marxism with Christian Gospel may show the way to a better tomorrow. The white church in America is the Antichrist because it supported slavery and segregation.

Those are some of the more provocative doctrines that animate the theology at the core of Trinity United Church of Christ in Chicago, Barack Obama's church.

Obama's speech Tuesday on race in America was hailed as a masterful handling of the controversy over divisive sermons by the longtime pastor of Trinity United, the recently retired Rev. Jeremiah A. Wright Jr.

But in repudiating and putting in context Wright's inflammatory lines about whites and U.S. foreign policy, the Democratic presidential front-runner didn't address other potentially controversial facts about his church and its ties.

Wright has said that a basis for Trinity's philosophies is the work of James Cone, who founded the modern black liberation theology movement out of the civil rights struggles of the 1960s. Particularly influential was Cone's seminal 1969 book, "Black Theology & Black Power."

Cone wrote that the United States was a white racist nation and the white church was the Antichrist for having supported slavery and segregation.

Today, Cone, a professor at Union Theological Seminary in New York, stands by that view, but also makes clear that he doesn't believe that whites individually are the Antichrist.

Trinity subscribes to Black Liberation Theology. I believe that Obama does not leave that Church for one simple reason. Despite his new found disgust in "some" terminology that Wright employed, Obama has bought into and agreess with the theology that the church teaches. He is raising his kids in it.

Most of us feel strongly about the christian churches we attend. If they depart from the theology that we accept in our hearts, we leave them and find a congregation and doctrine that we subscribe to and will make better men and women of us (through the atonement of Jesus Christ) and allow us to help others.

The Black Liberation theology subscribed to by Trinity is what Obama subscribes to. He's been going and donating to it for twenty yerars. That theology, is the admitted theology of Reverend Wright and the congregation. Wright admits that he preaches his brand of that theology based, in part, on the works of one James Cone...who describes that theology as follows:

"Black theology refuses to accept a God who is not identified totally with the goals of the black community. If God is not for us and against white people, then he is a murderer, and we had better kill him. The task of black theology is to kill Gods who do not belong to the black community ... Black theology will accept only the love of God which participates in the destruction of the white enemy. What we need is the divine love as expressed in Black Power, which is the power of black people to destroy their oppressors here and now by any means at their disposal. Unless God is participating in this holy activity, we must reject his love."

That theology accepts a perverted and wrested interpretation of Jesus Christ because it describes him as a poor black man (or man of color) living under oppressive white European rule (the Romans) and that he was as much about social change as he was spiritual. He therefore meets their criteria for a God who supports their black power insurgency against what they describe as the ruling rich white men and women in America.

They have perverted the love, peace, forgiveness, and inner focus (spiritual focus) of Christ and His atonement which teaches us that we change within, and when we are healed spiritually, then the outter man follows... and they have turned turned him into a social radical, hell bent on political and social change at any cost who supports their hate and "revenge" to suit their needs.

This is the message about Obama and his "church" that needs to be spread. I do not believe it is at all subscribed to by most blacks, and certainly not by society at large. But it has been hidden and flying under the radar in these churches and for political correctness purposes has been heretofore untouchable. But now the cat is out of the bag.

It is shocking, is is disgusting...and it is dangerous.

This same type of liberation theology has been used for decades in Latin America to pervert Catholics and goad them into rising into Marxist rebellions in class warfare. That is what this is...and it is the version accepted and practised by black radicals in this country and it is intent on changing this country into a socio-marxist state where wealth, opportunity, and position opr not earned by individuals, but instead are handed out by the state...and in this case they simply want to be the ones redistributing it all.

Where has the money been coming from to support the Union Theological Seminary? How many of their “pastors” have they graduated? Where are they preaching? Are there any of their preachers in our American Military? Does this Seminary pay taxes?

Yes and no.

While someone like Wright (and us, of course) know the truth about the dems, the difference is that the dems politics line up with Black Liberation Theology well. Dem policies treat blacks as special victim classes. It keeps apologizing to them for the past, because they never want the apologies to end. In fact, they want reparations. Welfare programs dems pushed through pay blacks (and ironically a lot of whites) for a number of different reasons. It has destroyed the black family, but the only way this is even recognized by WRight is the fact they’re pissed so many black men are in jail (don’t forget they did commit crimes to get there).

Bottom line is dem politics kow-tow to black theology ideas, repubs don’t. Dems are covered in white guilt, and blacks like Wright want them to be. Repubs aren’t. Because most of us don’t view people through a ‘color’ filter. The dirty truth is that blacks like Wright, in order to appease them and be guilty whites, you have to constantly look at things in terms of race/color; when you start looking at things in a colorblind way, like most repubs do, and you’re treating everyone the same, that’s what pisses them off because you’re not looking at them as a black person, a victim that you inherently view as inferior or a victim of YOUR race, and by lookingat them as equal, takes away their special victim power and privileges. And since their guilt industry and hate industry depends on keeping the race issue alive, becuase it can NEVER end - they gotta eat, too - they can’t have more and more whites looking at them just as regular people and not feeling white guilt.

There seems to be a large number of “Theological Seminaries” where the most important qualification to be a teacher is that, you are not actually a Christian.

Twenty or so years ago I paid a visit to a major theological seminary in a near by city; with the thought of possibly taking classes. In the lobby of the first building I entered was a large bulletin board.

I would guess maybe half the items posted had to do with some form of “social activism” and of those half of those had something to do with gay “rights”.

The disconnect is truly amazing. I have little doubt that gay “rights” is still the single most important issue at most main line Christian Seminaries.

My guess is that if you were to conduct a poll of regular church goers it would not even be in their top 20.
In fact I would guess fighting those who are pushing the “gay agenda” is a much greater concern for most Christians.

Go to the Union site and listen to the new leader’s speech. It is nothing but liberal nonsense. I have never heard such talk from a so called Christian leader. No wonder this country is messed up with leaders such as this.

I’ve decided that Obama stayed in this church to get “made” in Chicago politics. Oprah left and Wright hammered her. To leave would probably have tanked his bid for higher office. But staying will probably cost him the highest one.

Black theology will accept only the love of God which participates in the destruction of the white enemy...pretty much the essence of Black Liberation Theology and the foundation of Rev Wright's ministry - hateful, racist, and divisive - and wait 'til the public finally wakes up and recognizes this is what Obama has accepted as the basis for his spiritual life......

The white church in America is the Antichrist because it supported slavery and segregation.

This author is a complete, utter, total historical illiterate. The white churches in America are the REASON this G-- D--- fool is free today (hey - if that curse is good enough for the Wright Reverend, it's good enough for me). Abolition was primarily driven by churches. Does anybody in this country learn history any more, other than "Bush's fault", and "Bush knew about 9/11"?

This “church” did NOT seek out the Abomination!
The Abomination was seeking a church that suited his views.
He interviewed the “Reverend” prior to joining the congregation, and was given a list of members to speak with to learn more about this “church” before joining.
He knew EXACTLY what he was doing.

I wondered about that. I cannot believe the sorors rat would even live here, in the U.S., he dislikes us so. But then he is Hungarian Jew, father changed the name to miss the German concentrations camps, with a Christian name, soros then helped the Germans confiscate Jewish property and valuables. He’s a sorry piece of llama pellet.

Devastatingly, Steele writes, Obama has "fellow-traveled with a hate-filled, anti-American black nationalism all his adult life, failing to stand and challenge an ideology that would have no place for his own (white) mother."

Just What Did Obama Know About Wright's Past Sermons? (Plenty)

“Barack Obama either agreed with what was preached from the Trinity pulpit, or he tuned it out and stayed around pretending to for political reasons. To say he stayed for 20 years but doesn't agree with Wright's preaching is incredible denial. It'd be like a man buying White Sox season tickets for 20 years, attending the games, and saying he's not a fan.”

Obama’s supporters want us to ignore this story… just push it under the rug. While they’ll align Republicans with any obscure pastor who does or says something controversial, they’re trying to convince us that Obama’s 20-year long close relationship with Wright, including his effective endorsement of him, his church and rhetoric with a $22,500 donation in 2006 is irrelevant.

“When Obama decided against wearing an American flag pin, we may all have been a bit too quick to accept his rationale, too quick to find that issue unimportant. Now, that American flag pin has gotten a lot bigger for a lot of us, especially in light of what may have been and may still be Obama’s deeper, and, perhaps, secret, less than patriotic beliefs about America.”

“Wright says that blacks can’t be expected to sing God Bless America because of racism. Obama doesn’t salute the flag during the National Anthem. That sure strikes me as an amazing coincidence since Obama swears he never heard Wright say anything against America.”

Here is the link to the Star Spangled Banner video with obama standing there without his hand over his heart...

Notice her ear ring!
