A recent study conducted by the University of New Hampshire confirms what curmudgeons in these parts have been complaining about for a long time: The Granite State may be turning into a suburb of Boston. more stories like thisThe report, "The Changing Faces of New Hampshire: Recent Demographic Trends in the Granite State," released last month by the Carsey Institute at the University of New Hampshire, indicates that nearly 25 percent of New Hampshire residents were born in Massachusetts, and Internal Revenue Service data indicate that the largest source of new migrants to New Hampshire is Greater Boston. According to the report, 57 percent of the current population of New Hampshire were born outside the state. The national average is about 40 percent.

masshole alert.
New Hampshire needs to build a fence!
Sounds like the spreading of a fatal disease. ;-)
(Moultonboro, NH)
You can have ‘em! Four more years. We are outta heeyah!
NH better wake up and smell the Voter fraud in “same day Shaheen registration”. John McCain wouldn’t have been on the political map without it.
Massholes take their evil with them.
Liberalism is like a cancer, it spreads!
Same thing happening out west as Californians move to surrounding states.
Liberals, having fouled their nest, move away to foul their new nest too. But wait! Liberals: If liberalism were good - for you, for your community, for your state, wouldn’t you want to stay in those places where you hold a large majority and therefore a lock on political power?
It IS the spreading of a loathsome disease. New York has infected Vermont, and Boston is infecting N.H. and Maine. (Portland is well on the way to becoming a New England San Franfreako.)
Darn shame. Looks like NH is well on its way to becoming another liberal h#ll-hole.
You’d think that the state motto: “Live Free or Die”, would turn off all those Massholes.
Yep, it’s official. We’re now a suburb of the People’s Republic of Cambridge.
Omens and signs of impending doom:
* The Old Man of the Mountain collapsed in 2003.
* NH legislature went blue in 2006.
* NH will be getting its first Whole Foods Market - 55,000 sq. ft. - in one of those trendy “lifestyle” retail centers. Who needs farm stands! /s
They think it means that the government should pay for everything.
The omen was the first Home Depot. You didn't need to be a prophet to see the handwriting on the wall then.
Sad. I have a few hundred relatives in Massachussetts and, trust me, they should be forced to stay there.
I lived in SoCal 76-89. So true!
Easterners are generally A**holes period.
There are 500 some brave souls from MA who belong to Free Republic and are Conservative, other than that we cannot open our mouths and survive!
My extended family loves to enjoy my Republican hospitality as we are generous people but they HATE our politics.
Like most liberals, they come back for the food, the drinks, and the ambience. They are all for free, but we have a giant Library of Conservative books prominently displayed and we have no shame in tweaking them all with our views. We even put National Review on display in the porcelain library.
We enjoy torturing these twits, Can’t wait til Easter!!
Always threaten to crush their cars with my gas guzzling SUV.
Gonna buy a bigger one soon!
It’s the only way to have fun in Masshole-achusetts!
Just like liberals from Western Pennsylvania are doing a number on Central Ohio. My county is full of PA refugees who have helped turn it from Red to Blue.
I have been a frequent visitor (from N.J.) to the Granite State since the mid-1990s. I started noticing this sad phenomenon some years ago, and it has been depressing watching it creep slowly northward in the state.
Man, you would, wouldn’t you? I still remember my first encounter with New Hampshire in late 69 and on and off through the 70s - what a wonderful place it was. It really hurts to see it destoyed this way.
Too late. We should have done that long ago. Now every booger eating Masshole is in the lower portion of the state.
It has become a suburb of Boston. Our two Rep. congressmen lost to two extreme leftist in 2006. Now our last two Rep. senators are about to become extinct with this and the next election.
Just a few more years here and I hopefully will have enough $$$ to move to south-west Wyoming where I can shoot my 50 BMG off my back deck into the mountains.
If you’re moving to south-weat Wyoming you need a potato cannon to shoot offin’ your deck.
They think it means that the government should pay for everything.
So then I guess you need to change it to: Massholes go home!
Whatever you do, please don't send them west. It's bad enough I live between Illinois and Ohio, and Michigan to the north.. Indiana is being overrun with liberal nanny state scum.
500? I thought I was the last republican left in Massachusetts. Got plenty of dirty looks when I registered in city hall. I can hardly wait until I get out of this hell hole.
Yeah. Massholes alright. Jerkoffs up in NH don’t mind coming down here to work though.
They jumped the shark a long time ago. They are just as liberal up there as Massachusetts now.
Good on them.
Go ahead and go.
We will stick around and do your fighting for you.
NH picked McCain back in 2000 as well. Fair to say whatever impact that is perceived to be happening is akin to beating a dead horse.
Dude! Get with the State forum! Go to “More” on the home page and continue on to state forums!!
We are heyahh for our fellow Conservs!
I left in 1991. The war was lost then, and it's worse now. When I left the fags didn't have their crap being shoved down the throats of people in Lexington. And Roche Bros. was still a business that didn't try to offend its customers by kowtowing to homos.
I feel sorry for those who are stuck in the People's Republic.
Won’t be this way forever.
Sorry! Charlie Bass deserved to lose! He was a Main Street Reublican and he and Mike Castle (alledged R. DE)
singlehandedly Blocked Drilling in ANWR several years ago.
By the by, as much as I think Mitt should be McCain’s running mate .. he’s also a Main Street Republican. Google it. Mc Queeq, the Soros owned puppet is at the top of that gang.
Do you notice if you must go out, very few people smile, never mind act friendly. You can always tell who the conservatives are, they are much more friendly, and seem to find you. Most People act afraid to open their mouths for fear of offending someone. Like I said, toxic!
Gidge... you know I am witchoo.. too bad we live on opposite ends of the State.. I just had a couple of life long Demon voters here complaining about how much their new
privately owned small business. Property taxes, payroll taxes, loser employees etc..
I told them to quit whining and suck it up. It’s hard to run your own small business as my hubby and I well know.
The last thing I said was that we would turn them into a Couple of Republicans shortly.
What a Classic! They were more Horrified by that than the prospect of selling their home!
“If youre moving to south-weat Wyoming you need a potato cannon to shoot offin your deck.”
I’ll take any cannon out there. Just as long as I don’t have to worry about backstops and burms. I figure the mountains would be good for that.
I just need more than 300yrds which is the best my club has for a range.
“Sorry! Charlie Bass deserved to lose! He was a Main Street Reublican and he and Mike Castle (alledged R. DE)
singlehandedly Blocked Drilling in ANWR several years ago.”
Yeah I know Bass was an “Ass”, but at least he could be counted on for a pro-2nd Amendment vote (the most important issue all Americans should be concerned with).
Yes, Sor-ass has McQueeg in the bag via that political org. that McQueeg set up in 2000.
Hey, at least Whole Foods is owned by a capitalist libertarian. Not that any of his patrons care or will convert due to his story...
I sure hope not. My old home town of Needham is unrecognizable.
Burn, Baby, Burn the POS’s out....send them back to whence they came....
as Californians move to surrounding states
That works both ways as many libs from other states move here to Calif. or their jobs transfer them here.
Oh my gosh, that is so funny. Especially about the books, and National Review. Do you have Rush or Savage blasting on the radio too? Keep it up, maybe something will sink in.
Well, HAPPY EASTER!
Such interesting reading. Thanks for posting.
Wow! thanks for posting the link. I started reading it and just couldn’t stop. The arrogance of this couple is beyond barf. Their rhetorical approach is so condescending as to enter the realm of progressive caricature.
I've started calling out area "Atlanta South," after all the transplants coming here, and bringing all the "stuff" that drove them out of the city with them...
Every time I vote, I look down at the street listing as they are crossing off my name. Lots of D’s. Hardly any R’s.
Rush is on 3 radios per day so I can hear him all over the house! I send all my Demoncrat friends scathing e mails of FR articles proving how dumb they are. Each time I see them all, I am introduced to their friends as “a rabid right wing Republican”. It’s hillarious.
Hubby and I can be quite charming when we want and that’s usually when we turn on the wattage... the Dimwits just stand there looking dumbfounded.
Life is good, but living well is the best revenge!
I had a tag sale a couple years back, and during it there was a can and bottle drive for the local school. A father was driving the kids around in his pick up, and happened to see my Bush/Cheney yard signs, still in the garage. He said to me “Thank God, ..........at least YOU have the right yard signs!”
“Massholes take their evil with them.”
Yes, they do and notice they pick the most conservative state in the area to infest - they want no part of another liberal hellhole - but are too stupid to see THEY are the problem.
They are doing the same in TX.
Libs are like locust.
