"We must all hang together, or assuredly we shall all hang separately". - Benjamin Franklin

"Whether Soldier, Sailor, Airman, or Marine, we all shared a common goal in Iraq: victory. As Republican candidates for Congress we share a vision for America's future, her security, and that of future generations. We are unified in our commitment to relieve the Democrats of their command of Congress.

Voters want to restore leadership and honor back to Washington. Who better to accomplish that mission than our generation of warriors?

All veterans whose service to the United States brought them first to Iraq and now to a run for the House as pro-victory Republicans are welcome to become part of Iraq Veterans For Congress.

United we are capable of sending to Congress a squad-size element of Iraq vets to keep us on offense in the War on Terror, counter calls for defeat, and demand America's veterans receive the benefits they have earned.

In short, unification of all Republican Iraq Veterans will be a powerful force multiplier. By joining forces we will generate crucial nationwide grassroots support while sharing ideas and strategies.

How do we get the traitorous liberals and backstabbing repubes out of office? We start from the bottom up.

There has been much fighting among us. I for one am certainly guilty because there is no way in hell I will be voting for the lib with an r at the end of his name (see, there I go).

I WILL be searching for, supporting and volunteering for Conservatives, from the bottom up. We cannot change the minds of those traitors in Congress, we can only replace them.

Republicans do an excellent job when they LEAD from the position of being in the minority with a voting majority.

Don’t ask me why, but they do.

I would love nothing more than a ‘Rat in the White House (not either of our current choices, though!) and a House and Senate back in Republican hands. THAT’S when we get things done, such as thwarting the Dems at every tax increase, new tax, new social service “for the children,” actually balancing the budget, etc.

I’m a Retired Army Vet, and I’m asking you, PLEASE, don’t sit on your hands in 2008. Just swallow hard and pull the lever with the “R” after it. That’s what I’ll be doing...as well as voting locally to get the ‘Rats out of power, though that’s a tough row to hoe here in Wisconsin. I do what I can. :)

I fully support this idea, and hope that everyone here, when you meet a veteran, *ask* them if they would be willing to run for elective office.

Not just the Congress of the United States, but every elective office out there. City, County, State and federal.

America desperately needs veterans on Homeowner’s Association boards, school boards, planning and zoning boards, city councils, utilities and corporation commissions, as justices of the peace, State legislators, Mine Inspectors, Superintendents of Schools, State Treasurers, Secretaries of State, Attorneys General, and Governors.

These are the training grounds for future congressmen, and would give the veterans useful experience in establishing the networks they need to run against well funded and unethical Democrat opponents.

“don’t sit on your hands in 2008. Just swallow hard and pull the lever with the “R” after it.”

I wont be sitting on my hands, I just wont be pulling the lever for ANY Presidential candidate. I have no “horses” in this race. I will however be voting for any and all other Conservatives running.

I understand where you’re coming from but I must live with my decision. I would never forgive myself if I vote mclame. I think he is a lying backstabber and I dont trust him.

I strongly believe in my tagline.

pull the lever with the “R”

The only ‘hope’ for lower tax rates. Democrats are going to confuse tax rates with spending every time it is brought up, because it’s an easy change of subject to fool voters.

I have no “horses” in this race.

I believe you do. You are a freedom loving American. You have an interest in culling the advance of communism and preserving freedom in what ever way you can. The problem with the Islamo-Nazis certainly concerns you.

I'm not here to ridicule. I'm asking you to do what's necessary to help preserve what's left of our freedoms. With Clinton and Obama you equally have terrorist sympathizing, communist, America haters. The only difference between the two commies is that one is a True Believer and the other is power hungry. McCain may not love freedom of speech so much, but he certainly loves America.

” McCain may not love freedom of speech so much, but he certainly loves America.”

I do not believe that. Anyone who is for shoving open borders down American throats CANNOT love America.

We have yet to know what slithered through our open borders, but I’m sure we will find out in the near future.

mclame will say and do anything to get another vote, except of course in regards to Conservatives. We get the middle finger and are told to calm down, get called racist and nativist.

I love my country and consider ALL traitors my enemy, whether they have an r OR d at the end of their name.

Don't you mean "Republican Iraq Veterans For Congress"? I'm pretty sure any Democrat Iraq Veterans didn't really serve thier county, and probably spent their tours hiding out under a bed somewhere.

That is made clear in the text. I didn’t want to change their title.

“I’m pretty sure any Democrat Iraq Veterans didn’t really serve thier county, and probably spent their tours hiding out under a bed somewhere.” hehehe

You might want to adjust your sarcasm filter.
