Members of the Mehdi army carry weapons and poster with pictures of Shi'ite cleric Moqtada al-Sadr and Lebanon's Hizbollah leader Sayyed Hassan Nasrallah as they protest against Israeli offensive in Lebanon during a march in Baghdad's Sadr City before Friday prayers July 21, 2006. “The militia has kept a low profile since Sadr called a ceasefire last August and extended it last month, a move U.S. commanders say has helped to sharply reduce sectarian violence between Iraq’s majority Shi’ites and minority Sunni Muslims.”

Gosh, I thought it was the surge that had sharply reduced sectarian violence? I sure hope Sadr doesn’t become angry with us and call for an end to the ceasefire. More of our troops will die in this long series of intentionally designed fatal accidents. What else do you call it when they are killed not fighting? A police state .....yes. Nation building.....yes. An international relief and aid society.....yes.

War......not hardly and it pisses me right off. With every single report I read or hear about our own dying on some patrol that hit a roadside bomb, I grow a little bit more pissed off. A littlle less merciful toward the poor, poor people we sent our military over to help.
