I guess if you consider
burning 10 women to death not to mention destroying hundreds of businesses a peaceful protest, then your points are well made.
Now, the demonstration I saw today down on Nanjing East Road in Shanghai, with banners and chants decrying the violence in Tibet and calling for a free Tibet didn't garner much in the way of bullets.
I guess there needs to be smoldering corpses and destroyed lives before protests rise to the level of "justified"?

Now, the demonstration I saw today down on Nanjing East Road in Shanghai, with banners and chants decrying the violence in Tibet and calling for a free Tibet didn't garner much in the way of bullets.If these were Chinese nationals, I'm impressed. If they were foreigners, I'm still impressed, but less so.
