Since this was a simple case of mis-speaking, perhaps Hillary can tell us where she actually landed that she came under sniper fire.

If it happened in say, Beirut and she said Bosnia...that would be mis-speaking.

But I'll bet she just flat out lied.

Actually, someone on TV this morning said Hillary was on a plane that had to make a corkscrew landing coming into Baghdad.

Baghdad, Bosnia...both start with B and there's Muslims in both places, so she could have gotten them confused. Of course the scenery is a bit different.

To give her the benefit of the doubt....I wouldn't want to have cameras rolling on me 24/7, then be quizzed on every single thing that I said up to and including things that I talked about 10-20-odd years ago.

However, there IS an easy way to avoid "issues" like the one Hillary! is facing now. Just tell the truth. :-)

BTW, and IMHO....a person "misspeaks" when asked what they had for breakfast yesterday, and they reply with what they ate the day before. A person "misspeaks" when they travel constantly and they say "Hello New York" when they're really in New Orleans.

Unless she's getting shot at everyday, remembering nonexistent sniper fire isn't a misstatement....it's a lie.
