Rush is AWESOME. I supported this move from day 1... I don’t get why this is news though... I would have expected my higher numbers on each side... I would have expected at least half of each candidates’ supporters to want the other to leave, and that’s close to 25%.

Obama is such a jackass they had to send him to a secluded island to shut him up.
That is funny when a politician has to leave the country and hide at a resort because he is afraid of speaking.....
Another day lost for Obama is less time for him to dig himself out of the racist hole he dug.... but another day here is another day to dig deeper- because he is stupid.

Indeed. Every time my wife fumes about how repulsive Hillary Clinton and her policies are, I remind her that if she and a few million other voters had not been asleep at the wheel in ‘92 and had voted for Bush instead of that diminutive paranoid lunatic Perot, Hillary Clinton would still be a petty grafting attorney in AK.

Well, you won’t keep that from happening by holding your nose and voting. That’s a losing tactic every single time, I figure anyone with any sesne should have the ability to look at history and figure that out. It’s far better to stand on your principles and vote your conscience than to vote just to try to keep socialists out of office.

Because voting third party is two things - one, supporting the party I belong to, and two, voting for someone I agree with. It’s far more a waste to vote for party X to keep party Y out of office. Hold-your-nose-and-vote is a losing strategy. People need to wise up to this. There’s a reason the major parties are losing members, and it’s because of strategies like this.

Paging Al Gore....Mr. Al Gore please pick up the white courtesy phone....... This may be the downside of Operation Chaos. Clinton & Obama both so blodied and unelectable that the convention choses Algore. Nobel prize winner. More votes than Bush in 2000. Budget surpluses. Low gas prices. Best economy in 50 years. No war in Iraq. Etc.
Could pose trouble for McCain.

Once the socialists implement their agenda, there will be no turning back. The genie will be out of the bottle. It’s not a matter of waiting them out for the next election. The longer you hold them off the better. Maybe the Republican leadership will grow some brains one of these days.

Play to win or dont play.
What don't you people understand about this? This is a losing strategy! The "just win" mentality has helped tear apart the foundations of the Republican party and replaced what it once was (a small government, anti-social legislation party) with a party that's more concerned with "OMG GAYZ WANNA MARRY" garbage than actual important issues. EVERY election is the time to fight for your values. There is no "most important election" (though every election is billed as that), every election you should vote for the man who most fits your priniciples, even if yours is the only vote he gets.

You speak as if it’s inevitable, and it’s not. And the way to stop it is not “hold your nose and vote”. Once again, a losing, defeatist strategy.
