I hope all the Freepers who have come to Chelsea’s defense in the past will now see her as the “chip off the old block” that she is.
No one in the MSM has, as yet, hit on the most salient point.
How is it that Hillary’s credibility (that was the thrust of the original question) is “...None of your business.”
If the question had been to how the family handled this among themselves, then, of course, that’s none of our business, but as to how it affects the credibility of someone who is volunteering to manage the US economy (with one hand on the nuclear trigger) then it’s EVERYBODY’S business.
Fortunately, the question of Hillary’s credibility has been answered by Her Thighness Herself, with the help of a reporter with a good memory and some videotape.
What is there to defend. As long as “little” Chelsea stayed in the background, and shut the heck up, there was nothing to say. Once she decided that it was a good idea to come out front, and defend her parents, then she is big enough to take the heat. So, give her what for!
In a few short sentences, our nation was spared the awful possibility that Chelsea might some day run for office.

(Just seems to me that that’s quite a few ..... wouldn’t it be something if it turned out that she “misspoke”???)

And there’s CBS getting around to the issue of the entire press entourage kowtowing to the Clintons, but not saying, “Hey, we for one shouldn’t be doing this, we’ll change our policy.”

You are right, 70 Campi-? I would think that we would have seen more media coverage of these visits, being the Media darling and novelty that she is.

for the better part of 20 years america has had to endure scum like the clintons who have a sick delusion that they are royalty and should be treated as such.
Yeah... I’d bet the family farm (if I had one) that there have been nothing like 70... We surely would have heard about more “heretics” asking Chelsea real questions.

She may be including the silent campaign visits when she’s accompanied Mom and Pop. We went to see Hillary with Chelsea in tow on a university campus. Chelsea did not make a speech, but she did hand out water to the faint who had waited more than four hours for Mom to show. She might have said something to those people. heh. I’m sure she’s made lots of other campus visits with her parents this year.
“None of your business” - quintessential Clinton - get a tough question and simply don’t respond - none of your business, I don’t think I’ll answer that question, that question isn’t appropriate - one wonders what President Hillary would say to a question she didn’t want from the likes of Putin or Ahmindinajan (or whatever his name is).........
I do believe she said in her response that SHE had spoken on 70 “campuses” ..... and she certainly implied it by saying that in those 70 visits this was the first time anyone had asked her that question .....
Let’s just say that I suspect she’s inherited more than just her mother’s “runway figure.”

The last one in particular is from Bill Clinton's Federal Grand Jury Testimony.
The easy answer for Chelsea is to say that “my Mom has always been credible to me. That is why I am here today.”
If the questioner pursues the point, Chelsea adds that it is a matter between her Mom and her Dad and that she loves both of them.
Instead, she choked.
And of coarse there’s the ever popular “ ...we have been over that issue and addressed those questions many times now and its time to move on and do the work of the American People”

Her “out word” was “maybe”. And we all know what the definition of “Maybe” is, is.
With the Indiana (May 6) primary now a factor, Chels is tromping all over our state. She’s been at every college campus this week, acting like a rock star (barf).
It’s an indicator of “young skulls filled with mush” that anybody would waste their time to show up and listen.
If Chelsea can't stand the heat, get out of the kitchen. She's on the campaign trail for her mother and she needs to understand that her father's outrageous behavior, and her mother's part in that debacle, will be a topic of conversation and be an obvious concern. Bill committed perjury.
She is receiving over $200K a year working for the hedge fund. Not bad for a 27 year old.
Yeah if she was Chelsea Smith she would be working at the mall for one tenth that much.

I will have to admit that is the best picture of Chelsea I have seen. Hope the news media keeps it on file to use with every news account of her because in every other picture of her she looks extremely homely.
