TYLER, Texas — Two people were injured early Thursday morning after being shot in a parking lot outside a Texas College dorm in Tyler, police say.

But no, none of the law-abiding adult students can carry a weapon to protect themselves.
This won’t count as a campus shooting to the media, because not enough blood was spilled. There’s some unknown quota of bodies that must be reached before it is reported. Thus, NIU is reported, Louisiana Tech is not. Virginia Tech is reported, and this incident will probably quietly go away.
