(CNSNews.com) - About 22 demonstrators gathered outside the ABC News building in Washington, D.C., on Thursday to deliver a petition reportedly bearing 200,000 signatures of people who agree that "FOX News is a Republican mouthpiece" and that networks, including ABC News, should stop "parroting" the Fox News Channel's talking points.
MoveOn.org, a liberal political activism group, sponsored the demonstration and said in a press release that the petitions were delivered to major networks around the country, including CBS and CNN.

Nonetheless, they said, major news networks use Fox, a cable station, as a source for talking points.
"We are here to say, please, at the end of this election year, engage in responsible journalism and don't parrot Fox News," Adam Greene, director of strategic campaigns for MoveOn, told Cybercast News Service.
"We say Fox should not be setting the agenda for what is news in this country," Deepa Domansky, a regional coordinator for MoveOn, told Cybercast News Service.

Just maybe ABC has realized that to stop losing audience they might want to put a Pro-American spin on their news, like Fox, and I guess the liberal groups/protesters can't stand the idea that people want to hear good things about America.
Maybe if I could get time off work, time off raising my kids, and time off living my life, I could find some time to go a picket NPR for being liberal idiots; or I could go play a round of golf for the first time in ten years. Hmmmm?

Balanced news coverage is nonsense. There is only truth or lies. Balancing truth with lies is not balance. Fox News should fall for this.
Fox News is neither conservative nor by any measure “a Republican mouthpiece”. The left knows this. It is just engaging in street theater to “justify” the massive liberal political campaign propaganda the MSM will unleash during the general election.
Fox News would be better advised to run with this event as a story about the massive liberal bias of the MSM. It would be easy. The documentation is already out there just waiting to be used.
But that would call for real reporting of the truth.

Federal Government Bureaucracies, Urban Municipal Governments and most State Bureaucracies
All Forms of Public Education, and many Private Institutions
Health Care Bureaucracies
Public Service Institutions (utilities, cooperatives, etc.)
Labor Unions
Non-Profit Organizations and Charities
The Right Controls:
Churches? (not so much anymore)
Businesses/Corporations? (not any more)
Talk Radio? (they’re gunning for it)

A few months ago, Fox actually ran some self-promos saying “Reporting the News without Liberal Bias.” I thought they were great, but they pulled them pretty quickly.

Fox News? I don’t believe Fox News has carried any actual news since at least 2005 or so.
I do not doubt that. The only way a "news" organization would have a chance at not being liberal-biased is if all of its personnel were screened conservative and non-journalism school graduates. Otherwise they are brainwashed.
"Journalism" is opposed to discriminating, rational, logical thought. OTOH, "reporting" demands it!
So here we are. The people demand the truth. And "journalism" gives them a liberal agenda. If there ever arose a news media chain committed to reporting the truth, the MSM would quickly die.
