Film critical of Islam dropped from Web site

The story A London-based Web site has dropped a Dutch lawmaker's film that features disturbing images of terrorist acts juxtaposed with verses from the Quran to paint Islam as a threat to Western society, citing threats to its staff.

LiveLeak.com said in a statement Friday that it decided to remove the film a day after it was posted "following threats to our staff of a very serious nature."

Attempts to reach LiveLeak for further comment were unsuccessful. However, Dutch Prime Minister Jan Peter Balkanende said the government was concerned that Geert Wilders' film "Fitna" could provoke a violent backlash

‘Tis a chilling film, one well worth watching. 15 minutes in length, it says it all.

It — and not “An Inconvenient Truth” — should be required viewing for all schoolchildren in the United States (which is, as we might remember, still at war with militant islam).

It’s definitely going to be very difficult to distribute it, but once it is out, as it already is, it will happen, but more slowly.

That is a question I rather not answer. :-)

Here are some links to articles in Wikipedia that discuss thetwo formats. Although WMV (Windows Media Video) is a special MS format at least some of the file formats are MP4 (or MPEG4). Personally I am only interested in which programs I need to play the files. There are lists in the files I linked.

Download a Bittorrent program (Transmission or Azureus), then go to www.mininova.org and search for Fitna. I used Bittorrents to download the file yesterday (Xvid copy) and had it in less than 5 minutes.
