The film is by Geert Wilders, a Dutch member of parliament who wants to reverse the Islamization of Europe and believes the Koran should be banned along with Hitler's "Mein Kampf" for inciting hatred and violence. The film is called "Fitna," Arabic for upheaval. And just the thought of "Fitna" has Europe in upheaval, cowering before widely anticipated Islamic outrage expected to range from diplomatic huff, to economic boycott, to rioting

The metaphor here is the abused wife and her abusive husband. The abused wife dares not speak up, in public and especially not in private, since the violence will be sudden, severe, and come literally out of nowhere for the slightest perceived insult. The abused wife can’t even talk about past instances of abuse without fear of continuing violence.
The abusive husband can be charming, soothing, and attractive, especially for those who are not privy to the reality of the relationship between the wife and husband. Often the rumors and comments about husband’s abuse are simply not accepted because he is usually peaceful. In fact, the abuse is often directed only at certain individuals, so one person might have no experience with the husband’s violence at all, while another person might see the rage and violence closeup and personal.
The West has been the target of abuse by the Islamic east for centuries. Westerners keep hoping that if they’re nice and quiet and respectful, the violence will somehow just go away. Islam knows better. All they have to do at this point is quietly say, “You don’t want me to get angry, do you?” and they know that the West will capitulate.
At the end of this kind of behavior is death for the abused, whether in a personal relationship or among the nations.
I don’t know whether the West will choose suicide by Islam or decide to finally fight back. The Islamists are brutal and barbaric, but not invincible. The battle is coming, though.
The problem with , “Fitra” or trying to rid Europe of Islam anything is that its too little too late. What people must realize is that the Muslim population has overtaken the others. France is fast approaching a muslim nation by sheer births alone, it is a new statistic that people have ignored for decades. Other nations have same problem with their increased muslim population. In 5-10 yrs the majority of Europe will have more muslims than french. Amazing what time does to change things.
A liberal President may change immigration to allow enough muslims in to US to change our population within 2-3 generations. Maybe that’s the CHANGE that’s coming.
US/Europe have been aborting, and Islam is populating, and that’s the plan.
Fitna must be accurate if it is getting these rave reviews from the muslims. They don’t want us to know about their false religion, and how stupid their people are.
I watched it on Live Leak yesterday. Very revealing.
At least there is one sane voice in Europe who recognizes the danger they are in.
Hopefully soon our own politicians will wake up and actually read that filthy Koran and realize what it is and take action.

I watched it and thought it was pretty tame. Cutting the man's head off of course is graphic but I watched those videos too because you should know your enemy. This is just an honest representation of their psychotic satanic beliefs. The only thing I object to is the part at the end where they tear out the "offensive" parts. That's weak. The whole Koran is garbage. You don't rip out a few pages to redeem it. The entire book has been spewed from Hell. Let it all return there.

The bigger factor is how many are on welfare, or support themselves through crime. Long before they are a majority, they will collapse the welfare state. AT that point, it won't be pretty

excellent analogy. Except western civilization wasn’t always ignorant of Islam. Until the beginning of the 20th century Islam wasn’t allowed to establish a foothold anywhere in the western world. The 20th century saw the fall of the ottoman empire, and then if by magic, the dangers of Islam and all the evil it represented, even the mass killings of Christians in Asia Minor during the Ottoman empires’ last gasps were ignored and gradually forgotten. All signs of Islamic jihad again gathering strength in the late 20’s and years leading up to ww2 were ignored, and for another 40 years following that.

Wilders errs in seeking to ban books. He thereby emulates Islam.
I watched it today...Wilders nails it.
It seems that once Islam has started to take hold of Holland and Denmark, many people there (i.e. Wilders, Theodore van Gogh, the Danish cartoonists, etc) wake up and get some guts and make films/cartoons criticizing Islam. That would almost NEVER happen here. Can you imagine any American politician having the guts to make such a film? I sure can’t. The ACLU and CAIR would be all over them in an instant. That Opus cartoon mocking Islam was pulled from the newspapers. This country has PC-ed itself to the point where it is inviting Islam to come and conquer it, free of charge.
The enemy within is trying to make it even easier for them by stripping the citizenship of arms.

Well, Islam is used to support and justify Islamo-fascism and the establishment of a World Caliphate. That means only one religion in the world. So we must fight them any way we can.
These Islamo-fascists mean to end Western Civilization as we know it.
This war is every bit a serious as the Cold War. Most people in the West just have not caught on yet. It took the USA from 1930 until 1940 to figure out what the Nazis were about.It won't be much longer before the Iranians will but a true face on the World Caliphate movement, that even Liberals can understand, say by about 2012, another 4 years or so.
Now Geert Wilders should win the Nobel for standing up to islamfascism.

The only thing you left out of your analogy is that Islam is a 105 lb. loudmouth wimp, while the West (at least the US, Israel, Australia, and a few others) is a powerlifter with 27th degree blackbelts in every martial art known and could kick the loudmouth’s @ss in a heartbeat if it had the will to do so. At least right now, that is. The little loudmouth is taking roids, though, in the form of oil money and nuke tech, so that won’t be the case for long...

That list should have beedn “oil, nuke tech, population growth, and manipulation of the wwelfare state.” Meanwhile, the abused wife is on a 200 calorie a day diet (abortion, population contraction, oil dependency, choice of leftist/socialist/Democr@p politicians, etc.).
