Attn McCain Apologists: Talk all you want!
But he's still a constitution trampling RINO and unless he repeals McCain-Feingold, repudiates amnesty and global warming, drops all support for embryonic stem cell research and stops talking about partnering up with the Democrats and instead swears to fight the evil bastards he won't be getting my support.
You kicked the conservatives to the curb and nominated your RINO, now all you gotta do is get him elected.
However, that shouldn't be all that tough to do. Look what he'll be running against. A corrupt, power hungry Marxist radical feminist control freak or a corrupt, America-hating racist Marxist surrender monkey (oops, can I say "surrender monkey" in this context?). Can't see America going for either of those two useful idiots.
By the way, "change" is a Marxist codeword.
As they say, America deserves better.
Carry on.
P.S.
Or, you can select a kick butt pro-God, pro-life, pro-family, pro-America, pro-gun, pro-drilling, pro-defense, pro-small government, fiscal conservative as your running mate and signal a return to traditional conservatism as the future of the GOP and of America and you will get all the support you need. If she's a moose hunting Alaskan army mom, all the better!
Bravo!
Nice website. :)
Free speech lives! No RINOs.
I thought we were supposed to shut our traps ... I read that somewhere recently.
Atta boy, Jim!
Well I’m pretty disgusted also. Wish I had at least a chance to vote for Fred.
Let the games begin!
300 million Americans and this is what it comes down to.
Oooopsssss nevermind:-)
Sometimes you’ve just got to choose the lesser of two evils. If you cannot see that Hussein Obama would be worse for this nation, you haven’t been keeping up.
I wasn’t a McCain fan but it’s either him or Hussein Obama.
I didn’t care much for George W. Bush either but I voted for him. Same goes for his father.
You act like you own the place, Jim!!
Blame it on the parties that have completely upset the primary apple cart and have made it such an elongated process that it has only afforded the media&lackeys all the more time they need to foist whoever they will on the rest of us.
I am sick of the McCain apologists calling me every name in the book because I won’t vote for that piece of crap. I have the right to vote (or not) for anyone.
My buddy suggested “Eugene”, his mule. Sounds better than the rest of the jackasses out there.
We are hosed.
Me I think the worst of three lousy choices is Obama.
Given that we’re likely gonna be stuck with one of them, what say ye?
We’re going to have a tough 4 years. No matter what happens.
Obama scares me and the Gazans are stumping for Obama. That’s beyond scary.

IBT...Q2 FReepathon!
I apologize for John McCain.
Now, please vote for him anyway. :)
It’s important.
Thanks!
It wouldn’t work,
Hillary/Obama 2009!
I’ll vote for Eugene.
Juan McCain's not an American. I read that somewhere.
Regards
He’s a good mule! If he wins, he might be the best POTUS in a long time.
Plus, no bills could get passed since they would all be a pocket veto and the commanders in the field could just handle things until the next election. Not a bad lineup.
McCain is a dislikable RINO relic.
I agree 200%
You got that wrong .. his pal called us “the loud folks”
Laura Ingraham HAS T-SHIRTS and bumper stickers. I love them.
But I’ll stick with Tony Snow - after he left as Press Secretary - he said, “THE DEMOCRATS ARE NOT YOUR FRIENDS”.
I think I’ll buy that!! How come the dupes in the repub senate don’t get it ..??
Very well stated. Thanks.
His running mate could be Forty Acres.
I don’t believe I have ever said anything nasty about any McCain supporter. I’m a firm constitutionalist and say vote for who you like.
I cna say that I, as a non-McCain guy, have been trashed a lot by McCain supporters. I ask them to tone it down: it just gets worse. The latest screed about us shutting up is what prompted this thread.
“Do I have a right to vote for whoever I want (or not)?”
NO...
Now THAT was funny!
So at this point in the election process, what’s the point in railing against McCain? That time’s past, he’s the nominee.
Our choice is either McCain, Obama, or Hillary. One of those three will be President. Complaining about McCain’s RINO status (which I agree with you on, by the way, and it scares me a little) won’t change that. It’s over.
What are you trying to achieve? Are you trying to put Obama or Hillary in the White House? Oh, I forgot, silly me. There’s NO DIFFERENCE between McCain or those two.
You forgot to mention his plans to close Gitmo and bring those folks into our civil courts.
McCain would win in a landslide with a two minute speech that says:
“I can now see I was wrong on amnesty and I am now willing to lead the fight to stop illegal immigration and work for the self-deportation of all illegals in the USA. I also want to repudiate my efforts on McCain Feingold that I now feel is an unconstitutional block on free speech. And I can see now that my outreaches to the Democrats will never be reciprocated and I won’t try that any more.”
“I am a conservative Republican and I realize now that I have strayed from those principles and ask my conservative brethern to give me another chance - I will not let them down again.”
But this is McCain. He and his sycophants would never do that. So he might as well start writing his concession speech now.
NOTE TO ALL MCCAIN APOLOGISTS: McCain may not suck as bad as the DhimmiCraps' loser candidates, but he still sucks. Stick that in your pipe and smoke it. I DRINK TOUR MILKSHAKE, FOOLS.
Seems reasonable to presume, McCain’s selection for VP is still a decision being formulated.
If I’m not mistaken, at least a portion of the still-hot rhetoric, is a very well intentioned effort (which just might work) to convince McCain in his choice for running mate.
Duncan Hunter would be an awesome selection, IMHO.
Either Condi Rice (I know, ducking... but I like her) or Mitt Romney would be almost like rocket fuel for the ticket.
Would you believe him? Anything short of him working to make the Schuler/Sessions bill happen is not enough.
Sure, you can say ‘surrender monkey’ but please use the entire correct phrase and precede it by ‘cheese eating’....
:)
FROM CS LEWIS' "THE ABOLITION OF MAN" (well worth reading IN FULL!):
We have been trying, like Lear, to have it both ways: to lay down our human prerogative and yet at the same time to retain it. It is impossible. Either we are rational spirit obliged for ever to obey the absolute values of the Tao, or else we are mere nature to be kneaded and cut into new shapes for the pleasures of masters who must, by hypothesis, have no motive but their own `natural' impulses. Only the Tao provides a common human law of action which can over-arch rulers and ruled alike. A dogmatic belief in objective value is necessary to the very idea of a rule which is not tyranny or an obedience which is not slavery...
...I am not here thinking solely, perhaps not even chiefly, of those who are our public enemies at the moment. The process which, if not checked, will abolish Man goes on apace among Communists and Democrats no less than among Fascists. The methods may (at first) differ in brutality. But many a mild-eyed scientist in pince-nez, many a popular dramatist, many an amateur philosopher in our midst, means in the long run just the same as the Nazi rulers of Germany/Traditional values are to be `debunked' and mankind to be cut out into some fresh shape at the will (which must, by hypothesis, be an arbitrary will) of some few lucky people in one lucky generation which has learned how to do it. The belief that we can invent `ideologies' at pleasure, and the consequent treatment of mankind as mere υλη, specimens, preparations, begins to affect our very language. Once we killed bad men: now we liquidate unsocial elements. Virtue has become integration and diligence dynamism, and boys likely to be worthy of a commission are `potential officer material'. Most wonderful of all, the virtues of thrift and temperance, and even of ordinary intelligence, are sales-resistance.
...And all the timeÂsuch is the tragi-comedy of our situationÂwe continue to clamour for those very qualities we are rendering impossible. You can hardly open a periodical without coming across the statement that what our civilization needs is more 'drive', or dynamism, or self-sacrifice, or 'creativity'. In a sort of ghastly simplicity we remove the organ and demand the function. We make men without chests and expect of them virtue and enterprise. We laugh at honour and are shocked to find traitors in our midst. We castrate and bid the geldings be fruitful.

“...How come the dupes in the senate don’t get it...?”
I’ve been a long time coming to this, but it’s because they are:
1. clueless
2. spineless
3. STUPID
Damn. Was that an Opus?
