Barack Obama just told MSNBC's Chris Matthews on a special "Hardball" college tour edition on Wednesday that "I fell off the wagon a couple of times" when it comes to smoking.
that after lapsing he "was able to get back on" the wagon right away.
Obama quit smoking when he starting running for president last year, a condition laid down by wife Michelle.

You have to want to quit for yourself, Obama, not Michelle, though we all hope you gave Matthews a good dose of that smoker’s breath.

Obama, you should get Al Gore to help you quit smoking and clean up your own environment, before you worry about everyone else’s.

"So.......he slips and gets back on tobacco, but will be more than happy to ban smoking everywhere except your bedroom closet."Your probably right. Obama will probably be more aggressive against smoking than any other president, analogous to how some of the more vicious 'gay bashers' have hidden homosexual desires. lol

Yes, but how’s the coke habit going? Seriously, I could care less if a candidate smokes or chews a legal substance. Does he drink to excess or partake in illegal substances? Will he bring proto-Marxists, radical Muslims, white-haters, anti-Semites, bigots and racists into his administration? Will he start a huge war in the Middle East by withdrawing our troops in a short time-frame? His smoking pales in comparison to that.

Why? If you’ve ever traveled in the Muslim world, tons if men smoke. I’m not surprised at all.
I’ve also noticed a lot of far-leftists that smoke, for that matter.

So, will we now see the following signs on the campaign trail:
"Kools - We Can Believe In"
"A Puff A Day Will Send The Clintons Away"
"The Audacity of Nicotine"
"A Baby at Age 16 is Punishment, But Smoking at 16 is Just Plain Kool"

Why does it matter whether Obama smokes or not? Only Democrat nanny-staters would get worked up about a politician engaging in a legal vice that may affect his health years down the line, long after his term in office ended. If Obama wants to light up, let him - plus, it makes him look cool!
