Blessed is the man who listens to me (Wisdom), Watching daily at my gates, Waiting at the posts of my doors. For whoever finds me finds life, And obtains favor from the LORD; But he who sins against me wrongs his own soul; All those who hate me love death.
Proverbs 8:34-36
Jesus, according to Your Word, You have been made unto us Wisdom. Because our President has acknowledged You as His Savior, we know that You abide in him. Let wisdom increase in his life. As he watches daily at Your gates and waits at the posts of Your doors, reveal the secrets of Your Kingdom and Your wise path for his life and his part in the direction for this country. By Your grace, strengthen him, grant him favor and, in walking Your path, give him Your peace to be his umpire. May the Spirit of the Lord rest on him.
We ask Your protection and guidance for all the people who have given their energies and efforts to keep us safe and free. Anoint them to be successful in this service and anoint the family members from whom they are separated to feel only peace and pride.
We give You thanks for the United States and all the godly leaders You have given to us now and in the future. Blessed is the nation whose God is the Lord.
We thank You for these provisions in Jesus name. Amen.
Join with us to move mountains.

They were in the right place, on the wrong day. Or so it would seem.
The Dayspring Chorale, a traveling high school singing group, arrived at a nursing home for a Thursday concert. However, the folks at the home were expecting them on Friday. But they said if the group could get set up fast, they could sing for 20 minutes. Then they'd have to stop for a memorial service for one of the residents.
The chorale hurriedly got ready and sang, and as they did, the son of the man who had died heard them. When they were done, he asked if they could sing at his dad's service. They gladly agreed and ministered hope and truth to all who attended. God used these young people in a special wayall because of a secretarial error. But was it a mistake?
We carefully make schedules so we can be where we think we should be. But we always need to keep in mind the words of Solomon, "A man's heart plans his way, but the Lord directs his steps" (Prov. 16:9).
Do we seek ministry in life's unplanned schedule changes? Do we turn detours into guided tours of what He wants to do through us? If we're doing God's will, we'll be in the right place. Then, wherever we are, we can point people to Him.
I join in prayer for President Bush, the Administration, the election and our heroes standing in harm’s way!
'O Lord, we Love to Do Your Will;
Our Heart's Desire is to Glorify Your Name.' (Is.26:8)
Amen!
Praying with you for our President, our Troops, and our Country!
Not our will, Lord, but Your will be done.
As we walk this treacherous path, lead us as a nation, to glory. If we are to be humbled first, so be it.
We have faith that this nation is Your nation. We shall overcome our sinful ways and be redeemed, letting the world know that You are our God, forever.
Watch over our President and our warriors. Keep them from harm’s way. Let them spread Your Word, Your Love, wherever they walk.
Thank You for your many blessings.
AMEN SISTER AND GRACE TO ALL CHRISTIAN PATRIOTS!
“All we like sheep have gone astray; we have turned every one to his own
way; and the Lord hath laid on him the iniquity of us all.”
- Isaiah 53:6
Here a confession of sin common to all the elect people of God. They have
all fallen, and therefore, in common chorus, they all say, from the first
who entered heaven to the last who shall enter there, “All we like sheep
have gone astray.” The confession, while thus unanimous, is also special
and particular: “We have turned every one to his own way.” There is a
peculiar sinfulness about every one of the individuals; all are sinful,
but each one with some special aggravation not found in his fellow. It is
the mark of genuine repentance that while it naturally associates itself
with other penitents, it also takes up a position of loneliness. “We have
turned every one to his own way,” is a confession that each man had sinned
against light peculiar to himself, or sinned with an aggravation which he
could not perceive in others. This confession is unreserved; there is not
a word to detract from its force, nor a syllable by way of excuse. The
confession is a giving up of all pleas of self-righteousness. It is the
declaration of men who are consciously guilty-guilty with aggravations,
guilty without excuse: they stand with their weapons of rebellion broken
in pieces, and cry, “All we like sheep have gone astray; we have turned
every one to his own way.” Yet we hear no dolorous wailings attending this
confession of sin; for the next sentence makes it almost a song. “The Lord
hath laid on him the iniquity of us all.” It is the most grievous sentence
of the three, but it overflows with comfort.
Strange is it that where misery was concentrated mercy reigned; where
sorrow reached her climax weary souls find rest.
The Saviour bruised is the healing of bruised hearts.
See how the lowliest penitence gives place to assured confidence through
simply gazing at Christ on the cross!
