Don't you love it when a sancturay city backer gets bounced from Obama's campaign for alleged racial remarks.
Yes. But a ticket for "disturbing" or "alarming" someone? Wow.

The dems have turned language into a mine field... Kind of funny that they find themselves self detonating these days trying to traverse their own creation... LOL! Your comment reminds me of the video of three jihadis who screwed up trying to turn a 155mm artillary shell into an IED.

(McCain "conservatives" = hardcore liberals who nonetheless appreciate the occasional tax cut.)

I had a black coworker once who went running to my supervisor after I used the phrase "the pot calling the kettle black" during a work related discussion.
Fortunately the supervisor rolled his eyes and told her to pound sand. That, however was 18 years ago... not sure what would happen today...

Told of the incident Monday by the Sun-Times, Obama's campaign called Ramirez-Sliwinski and persuaded her to step aside as a delegate because the campaign felt her remarks were "divisive and unacceptable." Way to step up and inject some sanity into the "race" conversation, Obama. OTH, pass the popcorn.

Let the uniting begin. /s
I assume now that monkey is one of those words we can no longer use.

Yup. Sounds like a new dawn of frank and open discussions on racial issues...

You can no longer call people a “monkey”. Now you must call them Simian-Americans.

This reminds me of Howard Hawks' 1951
The Thing from Another World, you know, that
scene where:
Lt. Ken McPherson: What if he can read our minds?
Eddie: He'll be real mad when he gets to me.
Except I play the part of Eddie... and President Obama is the Thing reading my 'typical white' mind

Wait a minute, didnt Obama say something about how unfair it was to judge a person based on a just a few snippets of the thousands of comments they made over their lifetime. That's different.....
All animals are equal, except some animals are more equal than others.......
Hey, hey, we're the Monkees
And people say we monkey around.
But we're too busy singing
To put anybody down.
We're just tryin' to be friendly,
Come and watch us sing and play,
We're the young gneration,
And we've got something to say.
Hey, hey, we're the Monkees
Hey, hey, we're the Monkees
Hey, hey, we're the Monkees,
You never know where we'll be found.
so you'd better get ready,
We may be comin' to your town.
