“the Nobel Laureate admitted to having “a stake” in a number of green “investments” that he recommend attendees put their money in instead of “sub-prime carbon assets” like “tar sands” and “shale oil.”....

The Nobel Asshat has green “investments” to make him some green money......

I'd like to also see the initial investors list on the CFL light bulbs they are mandating us to use = law by 2012.

Betcha it includes a bunch of congresscritters along with the usual suspects -

cozy to be in a position where you can mandate everyone in the country to use/buy a certain product = and you get your shares bought before anyone has a clue.

Where are the REAL investigative reporters these days? (They kinda went the way of car designers. Instead of coming up with their own unique designs, they spend their time and energy spying/stealing the competitions designs. The results: mongrel designs.

Nowadays, the media doesn't do it's own work, they just pick up the stories from one another.

Just like “silent spring” has resulted in the deaths of millions because of bans on proper pesiticides, GW hysteria will be deadly as well. Socialism’s endpoint is always deadly, and this is really about socialism.

"Where are the REAL investigative reporters these days?"

They're working for subsidiaries of the companies that are producing the mandated lightbulbs...

Don't know, but Gore better figure out a way to kick-start the Sun pretty soon:

“Maybe not as deadly.”

It would be much more deadly if everyone followed his advice. Economies would flounder and the result would be extreme poverty worldwide. IMO wars would follow.

It would be a wonderful thing. Bring NG into Fairbanks and Anchortown, then through the Alberta oil sand’s before going to the lower 48. A lot of energy will be needed to produce those oil sands.

I have a shelf full of books and manuals on gas plumbing. If they were doing this 30 years ago like they originally planned it might be interesting, but I am retired. Still gas plumbing would be a great career for somebody about ten years old now since the gas might be flowing in about ten more years and a plumbing shop could do very well.

Nice and clean, he’s probably been aware of the solar cycle since he was VP and was briefed on the potential economic impact as a matter of national security.
