Sorry, but most of the Mafia is composed of greedy killers and thugs. They may have some distant or historical relationship to an unusual religious offshoot (although I have never seen this claimed in any material I’ve ever read about the Mafia), but that isn’t why the Sicilian Mafia formed in the mid 19th century and it sure isn’t very germane to the modern Mafia. Frankly, what you’re claiming sounds like a bunch of conspiratorial junk.

Chinese, Eastern Europeans, Gypsies, Albanians, North Africans, Black Africans, and Arabs of every kind. We are talking many millions, and on the streets, 24/7. And more pour in every day, thanks to massive people smuggling along 2500 miles of easily accessible coast. The countryside has many swarming squatter camps as the illegals outside of the towns look for Ag work. It's a mess.
I lived and worked out of Milan for some years in the 70's. Paradise. Now, it's not inaccurate to say that in some neighborhoods, the streets are a living Hell. It's actually far worse than say Marseilles, where at least the invaders are somewhat homogenous. Italy's big city streets, in many districts, are a dirty, horrible and unsafe Babel. In parts of Rome, so many people are living on the streets that the gutters actually run with sewage. Seen it, boys. Rome could use Rudy Giuliani for a couple of terms.
How this one gets solved is a mystery, as Italy's Diversity-minded Left wingnuts far surpass our own in outright silliness and always have a lot of power, thanks to proportional representation. Factoid: Beretta pistol sales have never been better because many of the foreigners are from bandit cultures and one needs to protect oneself from them. The cops are not too bad by our standards, just overwhelmed.
Muslims in particular, are actually integrating, intermarrying ... or trying to .... and clogging the universities. That's the action. The Italians are usually extremely tolerant, but the reaction, when it comes, ain't gonna be pretty.
It has already negatively affected the lower end job market. It will affect tourism ... and when they see that cash cow drying up ... the ever practical Italians may be inspired to act sooner rather than later.
