One of the savviest politicians of our generation, known for his wit, charm, and calm under extreme pressure, Bill Clinton appears out of character in the speeches and interviews televised since his bypass surgery September 6, 2004—and his mental deterioration may be accelerating. Remember, this is the president who withstood public impeachment before the entire world for his relationship with Monica Lewinski without once losing control. Now, he is easily angered by hecklers, and makes factual mistakes and racial slurs while aggressively defending his wife’s campaign for presidency. Everyone sees his mental and emotional decline, yet to date, no medical professionals have spoken out about the cause or offered help.

...I would have to surmise that the author ALSO suffers from brain damage, ‘cause it wasn’t the relationship that got him impeached. It was the CRIMINAL acts - coercion to perjure, et al.

I guess it was PRE-surgical damage when (with eyes squinted) he angrily wagged his finger at the American public, lied, and said that he had never had sex “with that woman, Monica Lewinsky”.

The Bill Clinton of today is the Bill Clinton we have always known. He has always been a fabulist, always been quick to anger and always been unconcerned about the truth. What has changed is the World around him.
The Donks and their fellow travelers in the Round-Heeled Media have a new crush that they like better than Bill, so suddenly they are not so willing to forgive his faults and cover up for his sins. Now, every time Bill messes up, we no longer marvel at his mad skilz as he works his way out of the mess. That admiration is now reserved for Barack Obama.
Look at the way everybody in the Round-Heeled Media is in awe of the way Obama is trying to talk his way out of his "Small Town America is populated by racist, gun-toting, Bible-thumping morons" statements. They are practically wetting themselves they are so excited about his latest political Harry Hodini trick. They are thrilled that we are going to tie our national dialog in knots once again in order to save one particular politician from his own moronic statements.
There was a time that Bill Clinton got that kind or treatment. No more.

Except for the time he stalked out of a press conference in midquestion, and the time he ranted and raved at some reporter in broad daylight; and the doctor apparently never heard of the "purple rages" for which this "calm witty and charming" poltical hack was famous.
Okay, I have to chime in, here.
I had ‘pump head’ after my bypass. I remember struggling to get through reading a paragraph, and then having no recollection whatsoever of what I had just read. I had a complicated regimen of medications that I was supposed to take, and I had an awful time figuring out which had to be taken when and which I had already done and which I hadn’t. I went back to work after about 45 days, and had real problems there, too.
It’s *awful*. For a few months. Then it goes away and you’re fine. It didn’t make me invent false recollections, or behave like Bill Clinton does pretty much all the time.
The left is going to have to come up with a better line of BS than this to explain away Bill Clinton. Most of the rest of us see him acting pretty much as he always has. The difference is that Obama is now the media’s darling, so they’re not running the protective cover for Bill that they used to.

Orwell, said, unforgettably, “At fifty, everyone has the face he deserves”-——in his early 60s Clinton has the whole package, everything he was developing all through his adult life, only now accentuated,more wide-open, more unconcealable, more on display, 24 hours a day. The hair now totally white, the stupid mouth always partially open, his physical alienation from Hillary , now literally hand-holding with her whenever they’re appearing together, his tending to his own “needs” now sublimated into subservience and subordination to “the Boss’s” ambitions, his “communication” with the MSM, now often nothing more than defensive hectoring/lecturing which ends up with a red face and himself looking boorish, bullying, and decidedly non-charming. So, NO, I wouldn’t blame this on the unfortunate “accident” of bypass surgery. He’s just come into the realm, finally, he deserves to be in, and it’s all on display,and we all have to look at it, because HE WON”T GET OFF THE STAGE.
