I believe it’s worth a try. It’s a longshot but no ones ever going to unseat Murtha if no one runs against him.

I’ve still got the Irey ping list, which I’m sure you do too, maybe we could get support for Russell from some of them.

We have in former Admiral Joe Sestak a clone of Murtha here in Delaware County. We are trying hard to get Craig Williams to replace him in the upcoming election in the 7th Congressional District election.

I agree, Jaz. Before we launch an effort, we need to get our ducks in a row. One thing for now that concerns me, is that there's to little info available on the Russell campaign.

I'll do some digging. It would not be fair to ask freepers to help Russell unless we can show he is worthy of their effort.

Craig Williams ^ is Sestak's challenger on the Republican ticket. Check out his bio -- Iraq Vet and still serving Marine Reserve Lt. Colonel, Fed. Prosecutor in Philly, and served as assistant to Chairmen JCS Pete Pace. Sestak used the Clinton Machine to BUY his ticket, and is beholden to them and their dangerous minions; he needs to be bounced so far out he'll never see daylight. Would be great to get both Murtha and Sestak on the unemployment line!
