It's amazing what $5 US per gallon of gas can buy...
This palace is owned by the family of Sheikh Zayed bin Sultan Al Nahyan, the former president of the United Arab Emirates and rule of Abu-Dhabi.
My Mom said to always look at the bright side of things -good things these people are doing so 'well'!

Warning! This is a high-volume ping list.
It’s actually a very, very posh HOTEL over there, not a private residence.
And the women? Imagine all the women he owns!
They hate us because of our decadent lifestyles. It is our decadence, after all, which keeps the vast majority of Arabs so desperately poor and bereft of any meaningful future.
And that is just my summer home! ;-)
Allah Freakin Akbar!
We don't even get half of our crude oil supply from Arabs.
We have more reserves in domestic America than all of the Arab nations combined and we can't use it because our congress and the environmental lobbyists who fund their campaigns have stopped our usage.
We couldn't refine it if we were allowed to drill because we have halted refinery production thanks to liberals and environmental legislation.
Whatever gas pump pain we fell is because our congress wants it that way.
Arabs have little to do with the problems we live with. They are simply playing the hand they were dealt.
And Iran is just over the sand dune licking their chops!
Hell, John Edwards place is bigger than that.
And remember, even if they no longer sell you oil you will still pay to drive on their roads.
On a side note, the building has to have been built for a while...so it was done when gasoline was a lot cheaper than now.
I hope you know she is not a arab...
that is Lil’ Kim who is wearing a pair of blue contacts.
Kimberly Denise Jones (born July 11, 1974), better known by her stage name Lil’ Kim, is an American multi-platinum rapper and singer. ...
here is what she really looks like

and here is what she looked like before being pumped and plumped up...

Nice tour of the guest house, how about the BIG house.
Doesn’t bother me as bad as people using solid gold toilets while their countrymen look for meat on a chicken leg.

Just fuels my admiration for Islam.

Been there. Done that. I’ll take Walden Pond anytime.
You have been hoaxed.

(You knew that all along, right?)
Honey, have you seen my car keys?
I enjoyed a touring drive in the car of a very wealthy Dubai investor in 2000. He drove me past a Prince of Dubai house that is a mile long. It makes this look like the dog house.
Ghetto looking singers try to look as white as possible to expand their marketing for the white dollars. If you saw Lil Kim and Beyonce, for example, without their wigs and side view only glamour shots, you'd be marketing some big scary looking Ghetto girls with donkey butts that won't sell in 90210. Fine and dandy in da hood.

I sailed by a 300 ft. Stainless Steel yacht that was owned by one of them in the Mediterranean Sea a while ago. Quite a beauty. Ship, that is.
You make some good points but you understate the influence of the oil cartel (OPEC and other nationalized oil producers). The oil cartel acts in coordinated actions to determine supply levels. The existence of a cartel may increase prices because of collusion on production levels. On balance, I agree that the influence of the oil cartel is limited compared to global demand and our own idiotic policies.
Beyonce is stunning.
Do you find all races scary-looking, or are you only fearful of black women?
They probably all resemble goats..
“Avert thine eyes heavenward, Faustus”..
You need to be asking the people who are being marketed to with fictitious appearances, in this case 90210 teenage girls.
As for myself, makeup fraud is unappealing across all races. http://www.niquehappy.com/uglycelebpics-recap

Beyonce to me is super talented, her charisma is a 20 out of 10, her face sans makeup is average to cute, and from the neck down, well...her booty weighs more than the girls I date, (girls who rarely wear makeup.)

Let them enjoy their brief life in their mansions on earth, because they will spend all eternity in a outhouse in Hell!
That’s the Emirates Palace hotel in Abu Dhabi. Sheykh Zayed (President of the Emirates, ruler of Abu Dhabi) has been dead for a few years, but ironically, he was known for living relatively modestly.
May they choke on their ill-gotten riches, may they get an itchy rash so they can’t sleep in their fancy beds, may moths eat their fancy-schmancy carpeting, and may their fancy-schmancy bathrooms have daily plumbing backups that overflow their contents all over the place.
Finally, may all of their teeth fall out but one, and they get a toothache in that tooth. And finally, may Mossad and the IDF special forces sneak in during the night and pour sugar in the gas tanks of all their Rolls-Royces, and key them for good measure.
No, even if we could drill, refine, and distribute, the price of oil is still over $100/bbl. That’s what we would have to pay for domestic production as well. I agree we should be doing that, but it strikes me as wrongheaded to think it would be cheaper that way.
Personally, I think somebody is trying to pull a corner on the market, and I think that somebody is China, with no oil and more cash than they know what to do with.
And the elite Rush conservatives on FR tell us we should be happy with $3.50 a gallon gas that makes these guys and hugo chavez rich, while poo-pooing the idea of American energy independence as unachievable.
If the Greencons would let us develop our own resources instead of clinging to their feverish delusions about “alternative energy” we would not be buying these sorts of palaces for 3rd world thugs.
The Department of Energy was formed around 1978 specifically to develope these “Alternative Energy” sources. 30 years later and trillions of dollars spent and we are barely closer to feilding any of them then we were 30 years ago
As I hope I don’t have to tell you or anyone else here, the major cause of high gas prices in the US - and the consequent increased weatlth of the Arab oil states - is interference with oil exploration, drilling, and refining in the US by myopic government policy.
