NY Post ^ | April 14, 2008 | Hasanie Gittens

Some really like it hot. In the sordid tradition of peddling raunchy video footage of celebrities a la Paris Hilton, a long-buried sex movie of Marilyn Monroe recently hit the market, a top collector told The Post. An illicit copy of the steamy, still-FBI-classified reel - 15 minutes of 16mm film footage in which the original blond bombshell performs oral sex on an unidentified man - was just sold to a New York businessman for $1.5 million, said Keya Morgan, the well-known memorabilia collector who discovered the film and brokered its purchase...

Marylin Monroe was hot and all that but that’s alot of money for a sex tape. I mean you could probably buy most of the good porn on the internet for about that much money.

I wonder if JFK was involved in this production.

Marilyn had a special magic that no Hollywood actress since has duplicated. I still remember the shock I felt back in 1962 when news came on the radio that she died from an overdose of sleeping pills.

I read a great book about Sam Giancana that was written by his non-mobster brother. I think it was called "Double Cross".

It was a very interesting book. It claimed the mob killed her with a Nebutal suppository, thinking they could easily hang it on Bobby Kennedy. They were quite surprised at how slippery Booby was, and how fast he got out of the trap.

I wonder what else will be made available from the J Edgar Hoover Collection.

What a load of crap. This film was sold by a retired FBI agent supplementing his pension plan. Let’s see the justice dept. start throwing these crooks in jail for their illegal actions.

I’m sure it was shocking to you at the time. But let’s face it, she was on a collision course with her actions.

Drug abuse and sleeping with the Kennedy boys has tempered my view of her.

She did make some great films, but studying her past (I was 2 when she died) it was no great surprise she suffered an early demise.

I wonder if JFK was involved in this production.

That would explain why the film was classified by the FBI.

Double Cross was about how the mob killed JFK, wasn’t it? Did they talk about Monroe’s death too?

Let’s not forget condit/levy. People get slippery for a lot less than murder—including infidelity. Condit had zero to do with Levy’s murder, yet he never spilled the beans and remains elusive because he’s a married, middle-aged man who was banging a graduate student

MM overdosed before she got old and shoddy looking. That’s good enough for me.

Yeah, they covered that too. It was very believable,

Since nobody in the film drowned, we can rule out Teddy.

Agreed, she was way before my time, but she sizzled in a way that I’ve never seen an actress sizzle. She just oozed sex-appeal from every pore. Truly a goddess.

Marylin Monroe was hot and all that

She was? Meh - looks just OK to me - kind of short and pudgy. Standards of female beauty have definitely changed in the last half-century. Apparently a very unhappy woman from what I've read.

"I wonder if JFK was involved in this production."

It was made in the 50s before she became a big star. Besides, Hoover tried to prove that the tape showed Jack or Bobby, with no success.

From the article,

"The footage appears to have been shot in the 1950s. When it came to light in the mid-'60s, then-FBI Director J. Edgar Hoover had his agents spend two weeks futilely trying to prove that Monroe's sex partner was either John F. Kennedy or Robert F. Kennedy, according to declassified agency documents and interviews, Morgan said."

If this was evdience, and the FBI was in possession, I would think a FOIA request would bring it to light (and we’d know the identity of the seller)
