Obama considers Cheney 'wise' TRIBUNE-REVIEW By-Salena Zito
When asked how he would work with the former presidents if he were elected, Sen. Barack Obama said that he would be more apt to seek the council of President George H W. Bush than his son, President George W. Bush. Obama said he considers the elder Bush's foreign policy "wise." Interesting. Wasnt it Dick Cheney who served as the secretary of defense from March 1989 to January 1993 under President George H.W. Bush? And didnt Cheney direct the United States' invasion of Panama and Operation Desert Storm in the Middle East?

i think he was referring to the Israel-hating Jim Baker
Casey Jr. has been converted to the Pro Abortion Disciple of Obama!
What will Bishop James Clifford Timlin of the Scranton Diocese do?
According to this article, Obama never actually said Cheney was “wise”. I hate it when the news make up headlines out of thin air. I would have thought this was newsmax. lol
Foolish Odumbobama - not seeking advice from the guy with the most recent experience.
nObama will be redefining his words in tomorrow's news cycle.
Barry calling Cheney “wise”??
The netroots won’t like that one bit.
Blindfold Obama, spin him around a few times; then ask him what country he lives in.............
I searched on Timlin’s name and couldn’t find any allegations against him. Do you have a reason for accusing the man of child molestation without evidence, or do you need to cram it?
HA! Obambi only says things like this to try to pretend he is not the hard-left liar that he really is. He never would have voted for the use of force against Iraq in 1991. That is one clear-cut test that a large majority of the Demagogues then in Congress FAILED. The resolution only passed narrowly because virtually all Republicans voted for it, along with a modest minority of the Demagogues (only 10 of 55 of the Demagogues in the Senate voted for).
Thus, a large majority of national Democrat politicians in 1991 would have left Saddam in control of Kuwait and all it oil indefinitely, as a dagger pointed at all of the remaining Persian Gulf oil supplies. That is something that is almost never pointed out as a clear example of Democrat weaselhood — they would have allowed Saddam to become a growing superpower of the Middle East — once he had 20% of the world’s oil supplies he would have continued his WMD programs and then could have lopped off the oilfields in northeastern Saudi Arabia at his leisure.
When Obama speaks in approval of the Bush-I foreign policy he should be grilled on whether he really condemns a large majority of his fellow Democrats who were willing to allow Saddam to control the region.

Democrats are never confronted with the fundamental weaselhood of their party in 1991: they wanted to continue ‘sanctions’ indefinitely which would have been a bad joke, as was later shown by the farce of sanctions and then oil-for-food later on in the ‘90s.
Obama should be confronted on his glib statement about Bush-I foreign policy — answer this, Obambi: would you condemn the large majority of Democrats in Congress who voted AGAINST the resolution to authorize force to liberate Kuwait and stop Saddam’s ruthless program of expansion?
His hope lies with kids who were in diapers during President George Bush Sr.. That demographic has been told to think our current President Bush is not wise (which of course means the opposite).
His life-long association with child molesters comes to mind.
