There's no debate: Pens trump politics tribune-review by salena zito
Politics stops at the water's edge -- even if that water's frozen, apparently.
About 57,000 more households in the Pittsburgh region tuned in to watch the Penguins beat up on the Ottawa Senators than tuned in to see two senators (Obama and Clinton) beat up on each other in the Democratic presidential debate, according to Nielsen Media Research.

The Pens are going to win the cup. HillObama will win nothing. I think that explains it.
I don’t blame them. Why would I want to watch a bunch of lying and talking points between two people I won’t vote for anyway? If something important was said, I’ll get it from a transcript. I’d rather watch the Wings than the debate...even when they lose.

We are all just going to be feeling so empty (along with our usual collective bitterness.) Paxil sales will no doubt skyrocket...
I don’t blame them...at least in hockey, you can hit someone that pi**es you off...might get two minutes, but the psychological release is intoxicating!
Sounds like Post-primary Election Selection Trauma! (PEST, Primary version)
Could it be that the Pens are going to save America from Obama?
Duh.
I’d rather watch Hockey — and the Pen are one of my FAVORITE teams — even if they STOLE Ron Francis from my Hartford Whalers.
