Media: Time calls green "the new red, white and blue" and likens global warming to the fight against Nazism and fascism. As it insults World War II vets, the magazine seeks to impose a tyranny all its own.
We never cease to be amazed by the inability of the left to feel shame and its lack of reverence for America and those who defend its freedoms, including the right to be stupid. The cover of the April 21 issue of Time, taking the famous Joe Rosenthal photo of Marines planting our flag on the blood-soaked island of Iwo Jima and replacing our flag with a tree, qualifies for obscenity of the year.
It echoes the greenie theme first advanced by Al Gore in his book "Earth In The Balance" that the internal combustion engine is the greatest threat in the history of mankind. Gore and Bill Clinton have both said that global warming is ultimately a greater threat than terrorism.
That, admitted Time managing editor Richard Stengel, was the thinking behind the cover story. "One of the things we do in this story," he said last week on MSNBC, "is we say there needs to be an effort along the lines of preparing for World War II to combat global warming and climate change."
This trivializing of the sacrifice of American blood and treasure to defend freedom ignores the fact that in World War II we faced a real enemy with a terrible agenda. The bombs that fell on Pearl Harbor were quite real, not the output of some badly fed computer model.

Of course. Trees don’t shoot back. Let’s pat ourselves on the back for doing something “really big” with no risk. I finally get it. The Me generation has their “war” so they don’t have to feel so small compared to the greatest generation.

Time has no honor and so many have no sense of country, but make no mistake they are what they preach against, they are commie/fascist just like every other lib. The great battle to stop the global warming hysteria will be just as important for our survival as any battle,,their goal is to destroy everything we have worked for in the USA,a battle we may very well lose, but a big shooting war will probably break out before that happens and GW will not be important to anyone, just survival.

likens global warming to the fight against Nazism and fascism
Time, Al Gore, and all proponents of "global warming" are trying to shock the world into believing in "global warming" again after studies showed that world temperatures in the last ten years actually cooled. There is a great fear in the fear mongers that if they don't keep up the pressure, that they'll lose to the actual truth. And, it became especially dangerous to their global warming religion when world temperatures this year alone were enough to offset all of the global warming for the last century. Seeing as how they don't have the truth on their side, the global warmists had to resort to the only tool left at their disposal, namely, fear-mongering. People do respond to being scared and Time and Al are very good at using that fear to their advantage. But, the best tool against fear has always been the truth. Time does not have the truth on their side.

We're all trapped in a burnin' ring of fire,
we keep drivin', drivin', drivin, and the flames get higher.
And it burns, burns, burns,
that ring of fire,
the Earth's on fire.

The moral relativist, Coke bottle eyeglass sporting, birkenstock clad, free cheese advocates and racist hurricane explicators know all about climate change. I tell them that I read in some Marxist rag that it will take abstinence and more concealed carry permits cool things down. Their bloodshot eyes spin about and they choke on their clove cigarettes.
