Report: Clinton Blames Caucus Losses on Democratic Activists, MoveOn (MoveOn, moved on)
Fox ^ | April 18, 2008 | staff

Posted on 04/18/2008 7:50:59 PM PDT by tlb

After Super Tuesday, Hillary Clinton blamed her losses in caucus states on Democratic activists, and particularly on MoveOn.org, according to an audio recording posted on The Huffington Post.

The Web site reported Friday that Clinton was talking to a group of donors at a small closed-door fundraiser when she made the remarks, saying the “activist base” of the party “flooded” caucus sites and intimidated her supporters.

“Moveon.org endorsed [Sen. Barack Obama] — which is like a gusher of money that never seems to slow down,” she told the group, according to The Huffington Post.

“We have been less successful in caucuses because it brings out the activist base of the Democratic Party. MoveOn didn’t even want us to go into Afghanistan. I mean, that’s what we’re dealing with. And they turn out in great numbers. And they are very driven by their view of our positions, and it’s primarily national security and foreign policy that drives them.

“I don’t agree with them. They know I don’t agree with them. So they flood into these caucuses and dominate them and really intimidate people who actually show up to support me.”

MoveOn rebuked Clinton for her reported comments. The anti-Iraq war group said in a statement to The Huffington Post that the New York senator’s claims were “divisive” and added, “MoveOn never opposed the war in Afghanistan.”

the same crowd that drove off Joe Lieberman are in charge and Hillary has gotten a taste of how out of control the Dem party has unraveled into the Marxist party.

This account is how the Obama people acted at Seattle’s 43rd Legislative District Caucus held April 5th, 2008:

“I’m a Clinton supporter AND I had to put up w/ constant barbs and asides from the Obama people who sat behind me in the Hillary section from the beginning because, as they told me: “Like you guys will ever fill up this section anyway.” Got it.”

But I agree with you that Sean Astin was pretty much a joke, beginning with his lateness and then continuing with the booing, shouts of “Obama!” and endless hissing that went on during his speech. I was mortified for him, and embarrassed to, once again, have to endure the frat-boy antics of Obama supporters.”

Typical Clinton blame game at work in explaining the undeniable fact that she her highness did not want to get on down and mingle with the masses. She is too elitist for that sort of politicking.

Sometimes irony is a beautiful thing. It was moveon.org that was established to protect the rapist president from impeachment.

Gotta love it! “Move on“ originally was created to “move on” past the Clinton Mafia's crimes. (Nothing to see here folks just move on). Now the same bunch which wanted us to ignore this criminal duo's doings is in their face. I don't think I’ll live to see the Clinton's get the real justice they deserve but it's still nice to see some steps in that direction.

I think that this provides some real insight into the core of Obama’s supporters.

They are radical, code Pink crazies, far beyond anything seen in serious presidential candidates before, ever. Even the Dem party is afraid of them. I know that serious Dem politicos despise these folks as borderline insane, with nearly cult-like belief systems. They try to stay away from them, at all costs. When they don’t, the encounters are strained, awkward and sometimes downright frightening.

The interesting thing is how well Obama, his staff and his campaign blend with these folks. Like birds of a feather.

Obama must be exposed as the unsuitable radical that he is. Even Carter, a mere incompetent, had nothing on this guy. The Clintons know this better than most, which is why she’s staying in. They can’t believe that the press is keeping up their support of someone so far out of the mainstream.

She has been somewhat screwed by this process.

The Hussein Obama folks are totally ruthless. I expect him to win in November because they’re slicker than Slick Willey ever thought about being.

Hussein can lie all he wants and the media is fine with it.

The Hussein Obama folks.........slicker than Slick Willey ever thought about being.

Barry Hussein or his folks slick? Have you been listening lately? It seems like the only reason he opens his mouth is to put his foot in!

The pro-Hillary and the anti-Obama and the just-for-the-fun-of-it media are more than happy to repeat his words. The man's support has fallen substantially in recent weeks.

Of course, it's still a long ways to the convention in August. Anything can happen.

I think McCain can win just by keeping out of the Circus. Of course, McCain does have a serious case of foot in mouth disease himself. He sometimes cannot resist alienating people who would otherwise support him.

Describing MoveOn.Org as "The anti-Iraq war group" is like describing Adolph Hitler as "The anti-smoking leader."

While the statement is technically correct, it doesn't begin to describe the agenda of either facist.

MM, wouldn't it be funny if Hillary picks up on what you figured out. Unfortunately, she can't exactly expose methods of cheating at fundraising.

Wasn't it Seattle's 43rd Legislative District that REFUSED to say the Pledge of Allegiance?

Just a sample of what we can look forward to if Barrack Obama is elected as POTUS.

SCARY!

Yes, not only did Seattle's 43rd Legislative refused to say the Pledge of Allegiance, but they also booed the delegate that made the motion to say it.

Contrast this to the Republican 30th Legislative District Caucus. Not only did we say the Pledge of Allegiance, but they also said the following invocation:

Father God,
Thank you for this gathering of Patriots for good.

You have caused us to be here Lord, for our nation and our neighborhoods.

Open the eyes of our hearts Lord, so that we can know the hope that has called us to gather for the cause of freedom.

Help us keep that which is right and make right that which is wrong.

Lead us to righteousness, self-control and judgment.

Our nation needs us as we need you Lord. Help us build relationships that will work for the cause of liberty.

It is only through you Lord, that the Republican Party can be made a light. And that light, the light of men.

In the name of the Lord Jesus Christ.

Amen.
